  1. There are crockpot recipes on here that are tried and true. Be sure to look for those. Can your kids do Gloves in a Bottle? It is a good protective layer that washes off afterwards. many moms i know, whose kids are senstivie to artificial colors, etc., use them for their kids to do art projects so they don't come in contact with the paints, markers, etc. I don't know if that would worlk at all for your kids, just throwing it out there, incase it would be helpful. I would bring the mini-fridge. I mean, Disney is paying for the electricity. The other option would be a cooler, but then
  2. Welcome back! How about while you are getting your feet wet with camping, you rent a trailer? There are two vendors on here i know of - Curt and Donnie. Curt rents pop-up campers and Donnie has Fifth wheels, which I think would be bigger? I stayed in one of Curt's pop-ups in February (thank you, Loretta!!!) and it was wonderful. He had it all set up at the site when we arrived. It had all the linens provided. (Might want to bring beach towels for the pool.) Oh, and a microwave! An easy dinner is to bring hot dogs, rolls, etc. to the campfire and cook them there. Buy the kids some
  3. Camera Swimsuit warm weather clothing The hand warmers I brought last year and completely forgot to use!! Trail mix plus air soft gun to keep rats squirrels away the food Let's see - what else?
  4. To recommendations. One is, if you have AAA you can go to their site to create a "Trip Tik". Once you put the route in, you can set it up to show you campgrounds along the way. I have been planning my "big" trip that way - driving from SC to Colorado Springs and back. The other recommendation is to look at "We Camp Here" for campground recommendations. HTH!
  5. Super Easy Pot Roast Dump enough baby carrots in crock to cover bottom. Add a layer of washed, chopped potatoes - little bigger than bite-sized, as they will shrink while cooking. Coat roast with dried minced onion and seasoning salt. Place over potatoes. Pour in one jar of holland style onions. Add one cup beef broth. Cook on low all day.
  6. Easy Slow Cooker Carnitas Ingredients: 2 pounds boneless pork-ribs, pork shoulder, or pork loin 2 teaspoons salt (freshly ground is best) 2 teaspoons dried oregano 2 teaspoons ground black pepper (freshly ground is best) 2 teaspoons cumin 1/2 large onion, cut into 4 pieces Mix salt, oregano, pepper and cumin together and rub over pork. Place pork in slow cooker and scatter onions on top. Cook pork about 6-8 hours on low. About 30 minutes before it is done, open slow cooker and use a fork to shred the pork. It should fall apart pretty easily. Let the shredded pork cook in the spice/juice
  7. And where can i find the recipe. I am missing my fiends tonight and thought some rum might help. LOL
  8. Growing up, my dad always told me he was from the South. It wasn't until I was 12 that I found out he meant South Jersey!
  9. I was there at 12:50am, but Judy and her Crazy Eyes made me leave (for which i am very grateful! ).
  10. It's about accepting people for who they are and enjoying them being themselves! :D

  12. I may or may not have laughed out loud in the library when I read that.
  13. I remember hearing when we were in MK for WWW that there was a level one clousure. Has that ever been confirmed?
  14. I am not Roz, but I have read that many have success by booking for a longer period (maybe two weeks?), then call the next day and cancel the days you don't want. If that doesn't work or seems like too much, use one of the travel agents that advertise here on FF.net. Costs you nothing and sometimes will save you money! Hope you are able to get the reservations you want!
  15. I never thought of myself as someone who would another woman's buttocks. But WWW changes a person. On the other hand, I wish someone would send me a list of when these WW sayings were said, by whom, and under what circumstances, as I don't remember most of them. Did i nap more than I remember? Or was I just too cold for my memory to work right? Couldn't have been the alcohol.
  16. In that first picture, i wasn't sure that was really your daughter. She looked so different not smiling I thought you were trying to fool us with someone you met who just looked a bit like her. Hoping you get back to WDW soon, for all our benefit!
  17. Fist up! If I am there (try and stop me) and have a park hopper ticket, I will join you. There are many rides there I have never ridden including Barnstormer and Tea Cups. BUT, if it is chilly, I might duck into CoP for a nap interrupted by brief segments of karaoke..

  20. That was fun I would happily endure again. The whole weekend was just so great!
