Actually, the WWW were there that weekend in 2013. I didn't notice any hoopla over the weekend, at least from non-WW. But maybe I was distracted.

I had forgotten that on Sunday morning, we went to breakfast at Trail's End. Nicki and I went first. This was probably when we felt the worst. When we gave our name at the podium the sweet CM asked if we were sure we could climb the steps to get to the buffet. We must have looked deathly. That with the muscle aches making every move a turture made us look like the Golden Girls version of WWW. LOL I would have loved to have had breakfast at Trail's End when I felt well. Besides, Lou won't come visit you if you are not at the Fort. If you put out a Fort Fiends sign, he just might stop by, as well as other Fiends!

When we stayed at the Fort in November 2010, we got some swimming in. It was cold as the sun set when we were going back to our campsite, but not painfully so.

I like Stone Mountain! I was able to join the Fiends there last Memorial Day and had a blast. Definitely see the free laser show. You might want to pretend to be a Southerner to really enjoy it. We also did the Duck Tour and enjoyed it.

I will use this post that KFK's ghost posted to say thanks for the reminder about Hunting Island. i was able to book an ocean front site for 3 days in May. :jumpforjoy

Shhhh..... stop telling people about Hunting Island! It is getting harder and harder to get a good campsite there. Seriously, wonderful beachfront campground, but has ravenous mosquitoes. Unless you can get a site right on the row closest to the ocean, you will get bitten many times.

I love to stop at the Welcome Center for free OJ. Missed it last year when we took the train to WWW. Missed it this year becasue Nicki was waiting for the Carolina Girlz in a hotel in Daytona and was very bored watching "Say Yes to the Dress" on TV. LOL Great pictures from the truck. I tried to take pictures with Loretta's phone as we pulled in, but I am obviously not a good photographer. Looking forward to more!

Now we can make fun of you for not finishing your TR quickly enough. With the snow storm we are expecting here in the South the next few days, I will be very bored and hoping for many updates each day. Get cracking, man!

We have talked about building a bat house to help control the insect population - we back up on a swampy area, so it can get annoying. When you showed the picture of the BABh, I figured you were about to report what the real function of that structure would be. No way could that be a bat house. Then you showed the pictures of the others. That's just creepy. Really, really creepy. Hmmm... I wonder how my Home Owners Association would react to a BABH? >:D

I think this TR last was telling what happened on Saturday, so i will pick the story on Sunday morning. Except i don't remember much of Sunday morning. I think it was Sunday afternoon that Nicki insisted I have some Dayquil. That did get me in good shape for Sunday evening. That afternoon or evening, at some point, most of us headed over to Magic Kingdom. They were open to 3am and some were planning to stay to closing. I knew that I would need to help with driving home the next day, plus was still pretty sick, so I resolved to leave around 11pm. Part of me still regrets that decision.

Hopefully, he didn't then hold his breath for the first half of the ride, like someone I know did.

Yup! same guy! He thinks the Yeti makes the ride, but has only seen it on youtube as he has never ridden it. Seriously?
