  1. The next morning, I got up early to shower and start getting ready for our longest day of touring. At 6:30am, we left the campsite after checking that we all had our MagicBands. We headed for the bus stop. It was then I started worrying that they may not be running internal buses in the campground that early. A bus soon arrived, but going the wrong way. We decided to take that bus to Wilderness Lodge and wait there for a bus going to Animal Kingdom. It was a long wait! After 3 buses had come for Disney Hollywood Studios and 4 for the Magic Kingdom, a bus finally arrived going to Ani
  2. Welcome aboard! Just before Beckers started hogging up all the page one spots. Wonder where she learned that trick? No school at all in November? Sweet! I was going to do another installment today, but now I am getting too hungry.
  3. With a little help from my friends! Welcome! We definitely did! Thank you!!! :hugsmiley: You are officially counted as in! :D This may take a while, but Lord willing, you will hear all about it. :) I can't wait to type it all up, but life keeps intruding. You might be done with Fall Break before this TR is finished. Sorry to have kept you waiting. :D
  4. It won't be epic until I can work out my pictures issues. But First Post Bragging Rights are yours, TCD!!
  5. This trip report is in a large part thanks to the Fiends. Many, many fiends helped make this trip possible. I don’t think any one person knows all the fiends that blessed us this trip. But I am grateful to each and every one of you. I pray that God will bless you for blessing us. The only thing I can do to show my gratitude is to write a TR. So here we go. Driving down, ears were worn. We saw wet palm trees! (Also known as foreshadowing!) We saw the monorail! Eventually, we saw this: We checked in at around 3:30pm. There were four empty lanes at check-in, which we
  6. I saw a sign on one of the buses saying never walk in front of a stopped bus. It was up with the ads over the seats.
  7. Not sure if these would be my answers all the time, but having just got back yesterday, my thoughts are: The Best: In addition to what everyone else said, I loved that i could be on vacation far from home, yet still be able to let my kids go play tether ball or go to the pool while i did laundry to cooked dinner. Since we were so close to the tether ball, I could let even my 7yo go alone. For the pool, I sent an older child with her. The worst: The standing water in between every site and the mosquitos. Also, the comfort stations were not as well maintained as I remember them being 4 ye
  8. Rode it last Tuesday. Very sad that the mouths on some of the characters were not working. Still, I did stay awake the whole time. Maybe because it was mid-afternoon, not midnight! LOL
  9. No, not that I know of. Many are leaving tomorrow, so are busy tonight.
  10. Went to AK and DHS yesterday. Made lots of notes for trip report. Hard to type on tablet. Love you all, especially all the fiends who showered extra pixie dust on our trip!!!
  11. Okay, y'all are making me feel better, because i have most of what you have listed. Don't have Airborne, so will plan to get that on the road.
  12. Okay, I have clothes, toiletries, food, my wallet, my glasses, my ticket with one day left, our magic bands, ponchos, comfortable shoes.... Okay, can't find my sunglasses. Full panic setting in. What else am I forgetting?
  13. Riding the monorail is fun! What I suggest is definitely follow TCD's for how to get to Epcot for "rope drop". Then, plan a day or five to just relax and enjoy WDW without going to a park. After enjoying some of the many things Fort Wilderness has to offer, take the boat to MK and then the monorail to the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian, getting off at each stop to enjoy the ambiance of each resort. After the Grand Floridian, take the monorail to the TTC and ride the loop that goes through Epcot. Then, go back to MK and enjoy the boat ride home. Pick up a Giddy-u
  14. We have the Burb! My husband exchanged vehicles with Pastor Joe this morning. He is out now with oldest daughter doing some last errands and filling the tank with gas, hopefully using the 25 cents off per gallon coupon I sent with them. :) Now, to find everything I tucked around the house to go with us.
  15. We all have double posts from time to time. Ghost posts that we attribute to a friend called KFK.
  16. Glad T#2 is okay! Making notes on my Epcot map about free chocolate and the time Club Cool opens.
  17. Thank you! Unfortunately, no Fox Sports 1 for my MMA/UFC fan so he can watch the fights that will be on Saturday night.
  18. I think you are discounting the fun of just being a with a group of fun people at an amusement park. I know the stated focus of the day is the coasters, but I would probably just as much if not more fun driving, walking and waiting with the group, esp. some WW I know!
  19. My Fort Camper Rental pop-up will have a TV hooked up tp the Fort provided cable. Will I be able to get Fox Sport 1?
