  1. Thank you! :) :thank-you-smiley3: We really did! :D I want to plan the next one but first need to find an income to support my Disney habit. Yes, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed reading my TR. :) Your welcome! Thank you! Jason, one of my regrets with this trip was that I didn't have more time to hang with Fiends, esp. you, as you did so much to help with this trip. :heartsmiley:
  2. Here is the ride video for Tower of Terror. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fU6Tf7ZPrfk&feature=youtu.be
  3. Okay, hopefully this worked. This is the photopass video of our Seven Dwarves Mine Train Ride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClfceXi3ooI&feature=youtu.be
  4. When I was there they had different things at different places. I remember noticing it was one thing at DTD and something else at MK.
  5. My 15yo is thinking about career aspirations and thinks this might be a good fit for him. LOL
  6. Thank you for reading! Your welcome! One of the reasons i love doing a trip report is that then I can go back and read it again. And again. Thank you! :D
  7. We really did have a ton of fun! :D She has so much fun putting those outfits together. :) I know I really rushed through this, but I wanted to get it down while it was still fresh in my mind. Do I get bonus points for finishing the trip report before the blisters have healed? Thank you for reading along! :) I am pleased to report that my 7yo is still talking to me. However, when she sees the ride photo from Splash, she still tells me how she didn't like any of the drops, not even the ones I called small drops. :heartsmiley: I really couldn't have done it without help from
  8. I am hoping to finish this trip report today. After the carousel, the offspring attempted to pull the sword from the stone. Picture of Cinderella's statue. From there, some wanted to look around in the breezeway under Cinderella's Castle. Part of it was closed off because they were doing a show in front of the castle. From there we went to TomorrowLand where some rode Astro Orbiter while others rode the People Mover. I believe that was the time the lights were on in Space Mountain and we saw people being helped off the ride. Sorry, no pictures. Next, we did The
  9. When we last left our intrepid explorers, we had just gotten back to the Magic Kingdom! The bulk of our touring on Tuesday had been in TomorrowLand and FantasyLand. Today was scheduled to be in AdventureLand. We headed there. I had not told the offspring, but I was hoping to catch Peter Pan at his new Meet and Greet spot. My 19yo likes Peter Pan even more than Gaston. Success! Peter giving 19yo a hard time about the time on her Magic Band. Signing autograph for 7yo. Then we went back to Pecos Bill's for another late lunch. From there, we redeemed our FastPas
  10. Okay, 19yo says the bird at the tennis courts was definitely an owl, but she did not see anything in its talons. She asked the CM's at the Meadows Trading Post about the one-footed stork. They were clueless. Color me surprised. Dan - Thanks for reading along! You are right - no amount of rain or sore feet could keep me away from Disney and the Fort!
  11. Our last full day at Walt Disney World was scheduled to be a busy one. We had gotten our park tickets through a program called Disney Student Seminars. It is Disney's home school program. There were many classes we could have attended, but since we don't get to Disney very often, we elected to spend our park time doing rides and attractions. There was one mandatory class and i was looking forward to it. It was called Healthy Living: Living with the Land. A Disney gardener was going to be teaching on hydroponics growing and other unusual ways to have a garden. That class was being taught
  12. Welcome and thanks for reading along. My advice on what to do the next 8 months is have fun planning your trip. That is how I spent most of my year. I think the good Lord felt it necessary to remind me that while Walt Disney World is very nice, it is not Heaven. That is where I am headed. That is where I long to be. But sometimes, I get busy and forget. I appreciate Him reminding me.
  13. Good to know! I may try this out for my next trip. I agree that a rainy day Disney is better than most days anywhere else. Good to know - Thanks! WElcome Mrs. YC and try to forgive him for an innocent mistake. I'm sure he was just so excited reading my great trip report that he forgot what he was doing. I hope you will dive in and start commenting. I would feel particularly honored if your first true comment was on my trip report! :D
  14. There were some disappointed looking parents and children. Yes, it really was. :D I think having the passports helped us be sure to see more of it than we might have. :heartsmiley: They mentioned something about other parts but then rushed everyone into the next room, so no one had time to respond. I was sooo glad I was able to score those FP+ for Anna and Elsa. One nice thing about it being Naveen instead of Tiana is that most likely the line was shorter. 19yo said if the line had been longer , they wouldn't have done it.
  15. The next morning, my main focus was getting dry shoes. Dry towels were also on the agenda. So I threw the shoes in a dryer at the comfort station and decided to do laundry while I was there. $25 and many hours later the shoes were mostly dry and I had clean laundry. Except then it started to rain and since all the shoes were sitting outside the camper (although they were under the awning) they all got soaked again. I wanted to cry. So I did. While I spent most of the morning and early afternoon in the comfort station, the kids enjoyed the Fort. 19yo found an intruder on Bob’s dock.
  16. After our trip in 2010, she came home very excited to eventually be a WDW princess. I looked up the hiring requirements and had to dash her hopes. She was already too tall to be a princess and she has grown since then. She still thinks about working there, but her real career aspirations are to be a wife and mom. :D
  17. From there, we checked to see if there any FastPass+’s were available for the 7 of us. We were able to book for Buzz, so we went to ride that again. Next we made our way over to the castle to wait for the Main Street Electrical Parade. Random castle photos: No parade pictures, but here are some fireworks pictures. I should explain that at this point, daughter's iPhone was running out of battery power, so rather than carefully trying to take pretty photos, she was just snapping as fast as she could before the battery died. I should also confess that i did no
  18. Next, we walked over to the hall of Presidents to secure good parade watching spots. Photo of Liberty Tree. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the parade was canceled. We decided to do Mickey’s Philharmagic and then went to ride Pirates of the Caribbean. After that, we went to Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Café. We split some of the Taco Salads. The fixings bar make that a great value. Next, we had to split up. The boys and I had FastPass+’s to ride to Haunted Mansion. . The girls had FastPass+’s to meet Anna and Elsa.
  19. I scored a first? Go me! They had all the kids marching to see who would be good guards. I guess Jeffrey just marched well. I did feel sorry for all the kids who weren't chosen to be anything. My 7yo was also disappointed that she couldn't get belle's autograph. They gave her a souvenir bookmark that has the autograph on it, but we all know that is not as good. The rain was a bit frustrating at the time, esp. when i was walking through inches of it. My shoes did not dry out for the rest of the trip. (More on that later.) Still disturbing. See? We were both in a Christmas
  20. Before we head to the Mine Train, we needed some Disneybounding photos for 19yo. As mentioned earlier, she was Anna. I think this is in the Mine Train queue. Mine Train Ride photos: Is that terror on the face of my sweet 7yo? You betcha! That is my third bad mommy moment. Three times and you're out? Not in this case. *blush* However, we just watched the ride video, which I am not sure how to post here, and she laughed while watching it. I don't believe she is scarred for life. Next was dessert at Be Our Guest Restaurant. I was glad we had FastPass+ reservati
  21. On the other hand, I really didn't like Soarin' when I went on it with the Wild Womenz last January. I kept feeling like I was going to fall out. Next time, i will use the Sissy Strap. One of the reasons i really pushed for this trip is because I know they are getting older. My oldest boy is pushing to finish high school so he can join the military. I comfort myself thinking of the military discount. LOL Thank you! I will let them know! :D He was a great character! I think it is cute, but my 7yo thought it was a bit boring. The 12yo says he didn't find it boring.
  22. I know by some standards I am flying through the trip report, but already things are getting confused in my mind. I had said that we went from Winnie the Pooh to teacups and then to Space Mountain. The photo evidence seems to belie this. It looks like we did Little Mermaid, Dumbo, then Teacups and Space Mountain. Fun note: I was going through the numerous pictures my daughter had taken of the Teacups hoping to find ones of us on it rather than strangers. That was the first time I noticed something comes out of the middle teapot: I just learned something doing my own trip rep
  23. I had her take those with you in mind! Older daughter Disneybounded as Princess Anna that day and younger daughter was Queen Elsa. They had fastpasses to meet the Frozen ladies later in the day and wanted to honor them with their outfits.
