Even after 19 years in SC thinning my blood, 50's feels warm to me in the middle of winter. If it is 55 degrees out, I will let the kids go out and play with just a long sleeve shirt and jeans on or maybe even shorts. However, 55 degrees actively playing in the sunshine is way different than 55 degrees standing still in the wind. And if you plan to watch a parade or fireworks, you will be standing mostly still for a while. That is when it really got to me. I went President's Day 2013 and MLK weekend 2014 and both were very cold. My advice is bring lots of layers.

Kristie - I was just thinking. You will have ten kids by the time you go. That would be three golf carts! I would bring bikes for recreation and plan to ride buses to get to the buses or boat.

I have read that Disney is trying to discourage renting golf carts from outside vendors.

Both of our family trips, we have just ridden the internal buses and been fine. The first time, we brought bikes for the children, but the boys only rode theirs a few times around the camping loop. This time, we were fine without. :)

I was away part of the weekend and busy when I got back, so I didn't get to read the last update until today. 30 minute round trip from good parade spot to your hotel room and back? Sweet! I agree - your selfies are are really great! I disagree. I want you to post an update or two on Friday. I will be driving to the south west side of SC today to visit my mom and to hug and old friend who is sad. I'll be back tomorrow and am hoping to relax with a few updates.

A three update day! :doodebug: I have not ridden on the Tomorrowland Speedway, although I want to just so I can say i did. When my 13yo heard that we can meet Captain America and Thor at DL, he said that he and I should go there. He was dissappointed his sister doesn't want to pay for it. He hopes to get a job once he is 14yo, so I still have hopes! Oh, and I never did ride on 20K under the Sea, so I really, really want to ride the Nemo ride there.

Loving this TR!! I love that they added Disney characters to IASW. They could do that at WDW. I wish they would do that and the holiday overlay.

I have found different translations of the Latin writing on Mr Toad's family crest. One person says it translates to "Driving with Toad is always absurd." Another translate it as "Speeding with Toad is always Absurd." Looking forward to Monday! (How many people say that most weekends?)

Just a note for old fogies like me who don't have a smart phone or don't want to use it in the parks. I had NO PROBLEM not having a smart phone. I had everything written down on one 3x5 card, including FP+ times. This worked just fine for our hard core touring. There was one time I lost my card, so I stopped at a FP+ kiosk and they looked up the time for my next FP for me. :)
