  2. Kelly, I never would have found josh without you pointing the site out to me and our vacation was soooo much better for using his site - not just the cheat sheets, but the advice from the other people on the forum. I also like his maps better than any others I have seen.
  3. I use WDW transportation whenever possible. I don't want the hassle of finding a park space, keeping track of kids in a parking lot, remembering where I parked, esp. when we are all tired.
  4. As I have mentioned before, we avoid artificial colors and flavors because we have found that that the petroleum used to make them makes my oldest boy cock-coo when he eats them. Seriously off the wall. So anyway... A few years ago, i found a company that made candy canes with no artificial colors or flavors, so i ordered some. In fact, i ordered a case. We used those for at least five years. They tasted fine - the same as the first year. In fact, we probably would still have some, but without A/C in the house, they melted. They were still in their plastic wrappings, but they were yuc
  5. That's why I linked to the Main Street Mouse article. They give you the Word of the day so you don't have to watch the show!
  6. Here you go! http://www.fortfiends.net/forum/topic/924-trip-report/
  7. Wendy William's is sponsoring a WDW vacation giveaway to celebrate her 1,000th show. You can read the details here: http://www.themainstreetmouse.com/2015/02/02/wendys-grand-fantasy-disney-giveaway-word-of-the-day/ Editting to add: Main Street Mouse is putting the Word of the Day on their website so you won't have to watch the show. According to the article, yesterday's word was GUIDE.
  8. I confessed this on FB when Mo posted this, so now I will amuse all of you. I thought National Signing Day was a day set aside to honor deaf football players.
  9. No! Please!! My daughter made that cake for my birthday a few years ago. I think that was what she made for my family birthday celebration when i got home from celebrating my birthday with the Wild Womenz. :D
  10. I would stay in the 1500. Hands down. Another thing I like about the 1500 loop is that is the ladies room is crowded, I can easily walk to the 1900 loop comfort station, which is usually deserted.
  11. Welcome! If you purchase your theme park ticket when you make your campground reservation, your MagicBand will be sent to you. As "Grumpy" mentioned, you will get mail about customizing your bands. If you buy your tickets separately, you will need to link them to your reservation through My Disney Experience. For those staying on property who have a ticket linked to their reservation, there is the advantage of booking your FastPass+ (FP+) 60 days in advance. If you are hoping to do any of the more popular attractions, this can be very helpful. Hopefully things will have calmed down by
  12. Does anyone know when Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is scheduled to open? I am hoping to visit there with Sarah. :)
  13. Which of these have you tried and liked? My food budget is shrinking, so I am more careful about trying recipes.
  14. :bighug: I wish I could, but this is Sarah's treat for her old (unemployed) mom.
  15. As my ticker shows, Sarah and I are taking a Mom/daughter trip at the end of April. With the Spring discount, we couldn't resist the chance to try a different resort, so we are staying at All Star Music. I am weighing the pros and cons of a refillable mug. Will I be passing close to a spot to fill it on my way to catch a bus to the parks? (The only resort i am familiar with is the Fort and i still get lost there!) What does one do with a mug after they have drunk their coffee? Is it worth the cost?
  16. Then we need to think of another reason for you to visit WDW.
