I got the "blue" light when I tried to ride Splash Mountain. It worked for all my kids, but then not for me. While i was working that out with the CM, my kids reported a bunch of people went through with blue lights.

I have no experiences with apps, other than the free one on my tablet that tells how many days until the next time I will be at WDW, Lord willing. (81 days!) As far as when to leave the campsite, for a 9:00am opening, we left the campsite about 7:15am. Not sure what time that got us to MK (using the resort boat and walking from the Contemporary boat dock to MK gates), but we were close to the front of the line to get into MK. In fact, we were so far forward, we could only see part of the opening show by leaning back and craning our necks. BTW, there is a restroom on the far left outside

I am hoping that once all the walls are down around the "moat", TCD will be forced to take another trip and we will be treated to before and after photos. :D

I have "followed" Main Street Mouse on FB so i get a notification every time they post. i just watched for their link to the article about it. I will try to post the word here each day. I actually watched part of her show last night. She was trying to get Ian Ziering (from 90210 and Celebrity Apprentice) to dish about Tori Spelling. I am glad to say, he mostly avoided her questions. Praying i never am tempted to watch such dreck again.

I usually allow about an hour. However, if you are trying to get to MK before rope drop, the best way is to take the resort boat to the Contemporary and then walk from the Contemporary boat dock to the MK gate.

To visit other resorts, you can easily take a boat to Wilderness Lodge, and after exploring there, to the Contemporary. From there, hop to monorail to the Polynesian and then the Grand Floridian. A few months back, I came up with this plan for visiting some of the other resorts. *PLEASE NOTE* I haven't tried this. It is just a plan I drew up. The downside is that most of the big ticket items will no longer have FP+ available that day.

As soon as you use your 3rd, you can check to see if there is a fourth FP+ you want to book. You can only do this at a kiosk in the park, not on your phone with the MDE app. You can even hop to another park and see if you can book a 4th (and the 5th, and then 6th....) that you want to book. As soon as one is done, you can try to book another.

I divided the group so girls could go see Anna and Elsa while the boys did Haunted Mansion. Each group only had 3 FP+. After we finished that, we checked for a 4th FP+ and got another ride on Buzz Lightyear. Oh, and at that time, they had a separate FP+ for lunch at BOG. That has been discontinued.
