  1. It's possible, though i would assume they would try to book a cheaper weeknight, rather than a weekend. Then again, if they are arriving on a Friday and want to have FP+ booked over the weekend, they might reserve a campsite for Friday night. As long as staying off-site, plus booking one night at the campground is cheaper than staying on-site, people will use the loophole.
  2. Here is an article about the changes: http://www.worldofwalt.com/great-movie-ride-tcm-updates-2015.html Turner Classic Movies, or TCM, and Disney announced a multi-faceted partnership in 2014. The partnership included TCM showing Disney films on the TV network in addition to updates toThe Great Movie Ride attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The changes to The Great Movie Ride are now installed. Overall the changes are minor, and they don’t impact the heart of the ride. However, the changes do add a bit of freshness to the queue movie and the closing film montage. Let’s take a look: Ext
  3. We had the chicken with prosciutto and ham and it was very good. But the fruit and Nutella was awesome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. We ran into cheerleaders on our trip. Staying in ASMu, we were surrounded by them and still, I would do it again. They were annoying, but who cares - I was at Disney!!
  5. I would think if there is crowd carry over, then it would be more expensive. The rule at Disney is, the cheaper things are, the less people will be there. The lower prices to entice people to come when it is less busy. I say, go for it!
  6. After reading comments about the last 24 hour day, I figured they wouldn't even have them any more. That said, I wish I could go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. A London McDonalds was the first place I encountered mustard on a hamburger. Since then, I have seen that at some McDonalds in the states. I think it is a regional thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The old London Bridge was bought and moved to America: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Bridge_(Lake_Havasu_City)
  9. This ship is a replica of the Golden Hinde which is the ship captained by Francis Drake when he circumnavigated the globe. He was the first to do this, so it was a pretty big deal. My kids just studied that yesterday in history, so thank you for the picture. I will be sure to show it to them. :) Here is the website for the ship, which is a museum: http://www.goldenhinde.com/ I don't remember any advertisements in London taxis when I was there, but I believe I only had 2 taxi rides, so I may just not recall them. The standard London Eye ticket is about $30 each.
  10. I took the tour when I was 16 and really enjoyed it. Lots of cool info about the Beefeaters, the crows, and many beheadings. Plus, I got to see the Crown Jewels. If you go back, I would recommend the tour.
  11. I used to love Hunting island State Park, near Beaufort, SC. Our first trip, we got a campsite just steps from the beach. We saw dolphins every day. The kids were happy playing in the waves. It was a nice walk to the lighthouse down the beach. Oh, and all the other campers were very friendly. A few years ago, we went back and the beach had eroded. There were now many trees in the way of the nice walk to the lighthouse. That time, we got a campsite on the loop behind the one near the beach. The mosquitoes there were awful. Still, I saw dolphins and the kids enjoyed playing in th
  12. I can't believe there are truly people who don't like massages. I am more like your wife. In fact, most trips to the mall include a 15 minute stop at Brookstones for a session in one of their massage chairs.
  13. Whoops! Good catch. Thanks. Here is the correct picture, which i will now go put in its proper place.
  14. Oh London, I have missed you! I was very blessed to spend 3 weeks one summer and four weeks another summer living in a flat in London with my parents. After that, I had a few week long trips and weekend trips. This was all back in the late 70's and 80's. It seems like a year or two ago. Can't wait to see more!
  15. So cute! I was already to rant over it being kids clothes, but it isn't!
  16. Page three bragging rights. Ah well. Better late than never! The stone dedicated to the guy who died in 1915 is a memorial to Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa. You can read more about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremiah_O%27Donovan_Rossa And "Molly Malone" is now Dublin's unofficial anthem, according to that most reliable source, wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly_Malone For those of you who didn't grow up with a father singing folk music to you every chance he got (and oh how I miss him!), here is a recording of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diUkiTs1gxM
  17. That is a great looking family! How soon can we expect the replacement photo with everyone in it? Oh, and I love the tee shirts!
  18. In! Great start. Can't wait to see all the selfies and DisneyBounds!
  19. Well played, Jason. Well played. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
