  1. When we were still in the stroller days, I would buy a large, pre-tied ribbon and attach it to the handle of the stroller. This made finding it much easier.
  2. Okay, for a parade! Do you all have the song playing? If you need help, click here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tLfsi9Cz_68 Now that you are properly in the mood, here are the photos. By the way, this was a great place to watch the parade, but not so good for photos. As you can see, not great photos, but still a beautiful day at Disney. But then I watched this and remember how special Disney can be. Wasn’t that adorable? I talked to her parents after the parade and emailed them the photos. I’ll post a few more parade photos in the
  3. Again, loving the comments!! Thanks so much for reading along. After the trolley show, we headed for FantasyLand and rode Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. Sarah was chosen to be the Keeper of the Red Card. High honor, indeed! It was a hot day, so some refreshment seemed in order. Do you remember theCoke bottles that say, “Share a Coke with Fernando” or some other random name? Well, these are what they sold in the Magic Kingdom. Next was Jungle Cruise. And then Haunted Mansion. Note the card Sarah was wearing. Yes, She was chosen again.
  4. Sorry these updates are sporadic. My work schedule is chaotic and that spills over into the rest of my life. Very hard for a die-hard planner! I also need to say that Ed and Rita are amazing hosts. We felt so welcome and at home! They spoiled us and we loved it!! Also, I missed a photo from the previous night. Not as cool as I hoped, but kinda neat. So, we have said a tearful goodbye to Wishes. The next morning, Sarah and I got up early to meet Gretchen for Rope Drop at Epcot. Does that mean more Spaceship Earth photos? Of course! These were taken by a PhotoPass Photographer.
  5. I had a trip planned for late February, but not sure I am going to be able to make it work. The friend I was going with has had to back out, so now I am seeing if I can find someone else to share lodging costs. Anyone up for splitting a value room 2/26-3/2? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I wish I did but that is it. I asked Sarah, but hers were on her iPhone, which died. :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. How were the lines at Dollywood? Are there enough rides for the Coaster-phobic? Not me. The WWW cure me of that. But my youngest is still traumatized from EE three years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you, Sherry! I have been enjoying your pictures on Facebook! Gretchen, we need to load you up with coffee so you can keep up with us. I also always plan a day right after a Disney trip to just sit in my recliner and do nothing! Thanks for liking my photos Cortzcapt! I like them most because they remind me of being there. So when we last left our intrepid explorers, we were outside the Emporium. We went in to do some browsing. I found some earrings I adored and planned to get later that trip. Unfortunately, I never made it back there that trip. At one point, we were near a d
  9. Let’s see if I can get an update done before church. At some point last spring, Sarah and I heard very sad news. Disney was going to replace our beloved Wishes with a different fireworks show. We were huge Wishes fans. Sarah had bought the CD of the soundtrack and could sing along to the whole thing. It made us cry every time we watched it. And it was going away, probably forever! We decided to do what any sane, rational ladies would do when faced with such heartbreaking news; we plans to go to Disney! This would be a quick trip. We would drive down May 11th to see the last night of Wish
  10. Note the purple hat on Grumpy. I always knew he was a Fort Fiend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I’m glad Yvonne can keep everything straight. When did we see Rivers of Light? Thanks to Yvonne, I now know why these next pictures were from Wilderness Lodge. As she said, we went to Geyser Point on Sunday. After lunch, we took a bus to Animal Kingdom. One random shot from somewhere in AK And more Safari photos Then we went to MK, thank you Yvonne for remembering, and rode Carousel of Progress. This is the last photo from that trip. It may have even belonged earlier in the trip. Facebook has not kept my photos in order. But it is a great photo.
  12. Okay, I know I have been slacking on the updates. The truth is, I remember some things we did that I don’t seem to have photos for. So I’m not sure when they were done. So a slight picture-less detour. Maybe some of the other WW can help fill in the gaps. I know we went to Geyser Point for lunch one day. This was when it was fairly new. We ordered at a window and were told we could find seats and they would bring our food to us. We found some tables between Geyser Point and the Wilderness Lodge pool. Some of us got our food after a bit of a wait. Some waited way too long for food. We compl
  13. Loved the videos! Anna’s smiles are infectious! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So, moving right along. After leaving Epcot, we went back to the Fort. We headed to the Settlement. And took a boat to the Contemporary. And caught a monorail Over to the Poly. We met up with Kelly and some of her friends at Trader Joe’s. By the time we left Trader Joe’s, the resort boat was no longer running. We walked over to the TTC. We found the nice cast member in charge of directing where all the buses park for the night. We explained our plight and he finagled a bus ride back to the Fort for us. :) The next morning, Gretchen drove some of over to Animal Ki
  15. Thanks, and good to know. Maybe I will try for thirty next update. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I agree about fast passing Frozen Ever After, although as you are about to see, the stand-by line a cute feature. The line goes through Oaken’s Trading Post. The window to the sauna is fogged over, but drawings appear from time to time. You may also see someone in the sauna peering out. Some more photos from Norway. Then, we were off to Mexico, where I took this okay picture. And this pretty bad one. Did I mention that I love Spaceship Earth photos? That’s nineteen photos. Here is a random one from the first day, just to make you smile. S
  17. RAG doesn’t sound appetizing, but GAG does? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I am still loving the responses!! It is very encouraging to know that people are actually reading my jumbled thoughts. :-D So, we had gotten to Epcot. This was during the International Arts Festival. What does one do at an International Arts Festival? One paints by number. This picture has Carol in the background Here is Gretchen Two of Yvonne And one of most of the canvas I also loved the vest the cast members were wearing for the festival It was a gorgeous day at Epcot There were already some topiaries up for the soon to start Flower and Garden Festival
  19. Oops, meant to reply to Nacole’s question. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Actually, that is my hair. I think I had someone take a picture so I could see how it looked. LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Still following along. I have not been to a Disney waterpark. In fact, I have been to one small local waterpark and that is the extent of my waterpark experience. I think breakfast involved Tonga Toast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I love all the responses and would love to respond to each individually. But I have no clue how to multi-quote on Tapatalk, so I am just going to push on with the TR. So I left off as we arrived at the Magic Kingdom. We decided to have dinner at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. A first for me! Heading into Tomorrowland, here is Sarah being adorable. And a general picture I thought might be Instagram worthy. Sorry. No pood forn. I just remember I had something with fries. After dinner, we found a rather odd spot to watch the projection show and Wishes. A side view of the castle Wa
  23. I was inspired by DIT’s Trip report. I thought I would try to post some pictures and thoughts of my own. It’s been an interesting year, but three trips to visit Mickey have made me very happy. The first trip was for WWW, which was in February. Sarah and I had a fairly uneventful drive down. We stopped at the Character Warehouse on the way. Pretty soon, we saw this. And then this. And then this. Pretty soon, we were doing what WW do best. We helped put up a tent. And then headed to the Marina. Pictures from the boat to MK Monorail!
  24. I’m in! Late, but all caught up. Loved Geyser Point when the WW went last February, though they had trouble getting all our food to us. A Disney cruise is fo shizzle on my bucket list. I hope to try the Territory Lounge soon. As soon as I saw the dog, I wondered how it got to Castaway Cay. Surely, I hoped, they hadn’t let someone bring a pet on a cruise ship. Can’t wait to read more! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. My father, an insurance risk analyst, always said that there is no way to stop the determined professional. So we had locks on all our doors and windows to prevent the impulsive amateur, but also in the hopes that the professional would choose to go on to the next house which might have less locks. Maybe the safety measures at Disney won’t stop everyone. But it could stop the amateurs just seeking to make a name for themselves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
