  1. I have seen some parents bring blow up projection screens, Xboxes and other elaborate ways to entertain the little ones when when hanging out at the site - share your toys here.
  2. :) And we shall call her Mary Popins of duck tape. Lol. Hmmm - perhaps that'll make a nice tag
  3. I bring a wet dry vac - and a carpet. I just cant take the dirt. Am I a crazy person? Yes - It is probably time we moved up to a pop up. I just was curios if anyone else brought a vac - or if I am - the only one.
  4. Are there any special events? Whats it like? I am thinking about trying for it . . .
  5. I understand everything is catch and release at Disney - but I am just thinking - perhaps after a long day of fishing I would pick up a couple of filets at Publix and then cook them to complete the experience for the family. Anyone have any tried and true campsite fish cooking recipies?
  6. I agree! I miss David Tennant - I am warming up to Matt Smith though.
  7. Oh - I wish it was mobile - I would bring it to the Fort! Unfortunately we are about 1200 miles north and the TARDIS barley made it 3 miles from my parents house were this picture was taken to my garage. If you are ever in Connecticut - we would love to show it off to another Dr Who fan. Unfortunately ours is not as impressive on the inside as the real deal - but perhaps one day.
  8. I had to order a special scale model online so we could make plans to work from to build the real deal - it came out pretty good I think. Perhaps I will bring the scale model in October - it will give me something to talk about with your boys. Nice meeting you - I look forward to having someone wlse who appreciates Dr Who here on FF.net
  9. You and I . . . are going to get along - swimmingly!!! My husband and I are huge Dr Who fans. For his 40th birthday I had a Tardis made for him - this beautiful baby below (sorry for the big picture) - now resides - in our garage! We are in the process of looking for a new home - so we can put it in our living room - LOL.
  10. Finally - someone who will appreciate my TARDIS! A giant welcome to you! I cant wait to meet you when we are at the fort during Halloween also!
  11. I think half the fun for people who have been gone for a while is figuring out what happened with all the poofing and the silence.
  12. I know these are silly questions - I'm a newbie - I think the kids will enjoy this.
  13. It?s a real race - modeled after a TV show on CBS called the ?The Amazing Race?. If I can summarize with a little help from Wiki: The Amazing Race is a reality television game show in which teams of two people, who have some form of a preexisting personal relationship, race around the world in competition with other teams. Contestants strive to arrive first at "pit stops" at the end of each leg of the race to win prizes and to avoid coming in last, which carries the possibility of elimination or a significant disadvantage in the following leg (segment). Contestants travel to and within mult
  14. How sad - poor lady  When I read this story I couldnt help but think of my Mom - she pulled her knee and ended up in a wheel chair for two days after riding the carousel - come to think of it that was the beginning of all her knee problems. Perhaps there is something to PCC . . .
