I remember when the gate to the campground was right at the intersection of the overflow lot and Fort Wilderness Trail in front of the bus depot. There was a camera in a globe and you showed your paper pass and they opened the gate for you.

The frame for the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian has been erected. These are the themed trees at Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail. I hope it's cooler this year, we were sweating walking thru the trail last year! The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail will be back for the 2019 holiday season and is set to begin welcoming guests beginning Friday, November 8, 2019, through January 20, 2020. This walk-through experience in the Marketplace at Disney Springs has photo opportunities galore along with holiday music and falling “snow.” Keep an eye out for specia

Personally I don't thinks carts should be allowed in the loops during the trick or treat hours. Last time we took our grandkids (and they were old enough to watch out for carts) we were nervous wrecks with the carts driving their kids from site to site so they didn't have to walk. It was wall to wall people in some of the loops. We saw lots of near misses between carts and the littler kids that would just dart out when something caught their eye. If I remember correctly, I think there was an incident with a cart hitting a kid last year that led to a brawl.

I can't copy the picture, but here is the link where your PA EZ Pass will work https://www.paturnpike.com/pdfs/tolls/IAG_E-ZPASS_MAP.pdf It does say it'll work in FL only on the CFX roads which is the Beachline and something else.

SKYLINER OPENS SEPT 29th
Travisma replied to Grumpy and Grandma's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Disney announced that they have had 1 million riders on the Skyliner in less than a month. We went labor Day weekend and it wasn't crowded and that was with the reduced schedule. And this weekend they had an issue with the ADA load station at the Caribbean Station to Art of Animation. -

I would try to contact someone in charge. Tell them you are not happy with their solution, that you booked the site in good faith based on what was on their website. It wasn't your fault that they had the incorrect pricing, and that they need to admit to their error and honor the price you paid. Hopefully they will cave in and let you keep the price (and not give you a site next to the dumpsters). If they don't honor the price, look for a local Albuquerque TV station that has one of those consumer advocates, tell them your story and see if they will look into it. At the ver -

I guess some people have a bunch of $$$$$ Or they gave away so many to social media types that they didn't have any available for people to purchase.. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2019/10/more-ultimate-disney-christmas-packages-available-to-celebrate-the-holidays-at-walt-disney-world-resort/ Good news! Due to overwhelming popularity, we’ve increased the number of 2019 Ultimate Disney Christmas Packages available and extended the booking window for this special offer. The package is a great way to experience all the holiday fun of a Walt Disney World Resor

Someone on a FB camping page said they were going thru the attic and found a forgotten box of camping gear that was at least 20 years old. They found an electric kettle in the box, plugged it in and it started working. It's their "new" old favorite appliance. They use it everyday for tea, instant coffee and water for oatmeal. It was similar to this but tan.

From the Disney Parks Blog Since the launch of Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, we’ve had a great time partnering with Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic to update the attraction with new and exciting destinations. Passengers who board the Starspeeder 1000 never know where in the galaxy their pilot C-3PO and navigator R2-D2 will take them. We’ve added flights to Jakku, Crait and even Batuu! Along the way, we’ve encountered many of our favorite characters from the Skywalker saga. I know that many of you are as excited as I am about the December 20th film launch o

Trails End playground closed
Travisma replied to Littleolwoman.aka.Kristie's topic in Disney and Fort Construction
If you look at a satellite map, (unless it's been taken over by cart parking), there is a grassy/tree area to the right of where the Christmas tree goes and between the cart parking going towards the beach. Not nearly as large as what they just closed. -
Trails End playground closed
Travisma replied to Littleolwoman.aka.Kristie's topic in Disney and Fort Construction
But they just spent all that $$ last year to put the ugly chain link fence around the playground, so maybe it's one department not speaking to another? Like when the city rips up a street for a water problem then repaves it, and a month later the sewer department rips it up again. But as soon as the project was green lighted they should've built the new playground. -
This Thursday, Oct. 24, neighbors and Resort Guests near Magic Kingdom may hear us testing fireworks around 6:15 a.m. as we make final preparations for an all-new holiday show. Once it begins, the test should take about 30 minutes. We understand the early morning noise impacts may not be ideal and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your morning routine. For those of you who may already be awake… we invite you to grab a cup of coffee, turn on some holiday music and enjoy the show!

Have you seen the controversy about the food names in the snack bar? They changed the Batuu names to regular food names (even though they were always there under the Batuu names) only at HS. Disneyland didn't change. Well after a few days of Disney getting kicked to the curb for that decision, they changed the menu board back to the original Batuu named foods. Star Wars fans have spoken, and surprisingly Disney listened
