  1. And the problem with that was? Just some people trying to have a good time and making their own rules.... but don't have one car tire 1/2 inch off the pavement and onto the grass!!
  2. We went as a multi family gathering 3 or 4 ago. Ages from 9 to 68. We had a good time, food was decent, the usual Disney AYCE fare, was nice having the beer and wine. I like Hoop De Do better. The last/previous time we had been to the luau, was in 1977, and it was on the beach at the Poly!
  3. Who makes Prevost motorhomes? Volvo Prevost Car. Prévost (pronounced pray-voh) is a Quebec, Canada-based manufacturer of touring coaches and bus shells for high-end motorhomes and specialty conversions. The company is a subsidiary of Volvo.
  4. If you tried yesterday, you would've had the best of both worlds! Up early to get your boarding pass, then stay late to ride. Opening was delayed 7 hours, then when they were calling back the pass groups there was over a 2 hour wait in line which was all the way outside of Bantuu and into Grand Avenue.
  5. Thanks, I sent it from my phone and couldn't do much with it. I see my trailer mfg at the bottom, nuCamp. And for anyone interested the giant RV show is thru Sunday in Tampa.
  6. Just give them a couple years. I hear with every conversion purchased, you get a deluxe WDW vacation package to the 3000 loop at the Fort

  8. Better plan is kicking back with a very large adult beverage, relaxing, and watching the madness.
  9. Is it just social media making us more aware of problems, or is Disney falling apart? Seems like they have had a lot of mishaps lately. Fires in the Land kitchen, Big Top, and and now People Mover. Problems with the MK turnstiles/MB scanners today. Skyliner and ROR breaking down. Numerous posts of trash and obvious wear and tear.
  10. Disney Parks Blog did an outstanding stream of the MK fireworks. Their broadcasts have definitely improved over the years. By the crowd view video in front of the castle and down Main Street, that would be the last place I would want to be. There were conflicting reports during the day that the MK was not allowing anymore guests in, but the phases the different news outlets were using didn’t always coincide with each other. You've got to have nerves of steel or be a little loco to go to the MK on NYE in my opinion!

  12. Ours had a couple Disney Princess projectors and that was it for Disney. They had some various blow ups, lights, and trees. But not everything was 50% off. i remember going to Target the day after Christmas and getting tons of decorations at 75% off. And going to Sears and getting toys and Christmas items the day after Christmas really cheap because they didn’t normally carry those items. Nowadays if you don’t purchase Christmas decorations the day after Halloween you miss out on the “hot” items.
  13. Maybe because she posted it on Tik-Tok that's what makes it news.
  14. I think since it's not an "official" flag and more of a decoration, it doesn't have to follow the rules regarding how and American Flag has to be displayed, taken down at night if no light, etc.
  15. She was an intern, might not be coming back after these... Disney World intern shares its secrets: Why are their American flags short one star and stripe? “The most magical place on earth” has become a little less mysterious, thanks to a Walt Disney World intern’s now-viral TikTok video series illuminating little-known facts about the Florida theme park. Earlier this week, intern Fayth Hendley discussed all things Disney on the video-sharing platform in a series of six quick clips. The 19-year-old collegian from Illinois claimed she previously worked there through the Disn
  16. I took the train once to Orlando since I was buying a car there. Went into the downtown area and my daughter picked me up. It was a great ride, lot more comfortable than flying! Also took it down to the Mirimar area. Again a great ride.
  17. But only if you want to join in on The Year of a Million $chemes! New Villains Caravan and More Coming to Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park Next Year! 18. They've been kicking this idea around in one form or another for years, connecting Tampa to WDW. But for the cost to go round trip for a family of 4, you could buy 2 or 3 tanks of gas for your pick up.
  19. A nurse knit Baby Yoda Christmas hats for every newborn at a Pittsburgh hospital and they're adorable A hospital in Pittsburgh is making headlines for the adorable handmade Baby Yoda hats they're making to dress up newborn babies this holiday season. The hats, which feature green ears peeking out from under a Santa's hat, were made by a registered nurse who works in the baby ward at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. Caitlin Pechin said that it took about an hour and a half to make each hat, a tribute to the "Mandalorian" character on Disney+, and that she enjoys keeping the hospital tr
  20. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Boarding Groups Now Being Distributed Starting at Official Park Opening Time Beginning Today Since Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened, the attraction has utilized a boarding group system that required guests to enter the park and then obtain said group in the MyDisneyExperience app in order to ride. On top of this, the park has been unofficially opening anywhere from 30-120 minutes ahead of the scheduled opening time, allowing guests to grab that boarding group way before the park’s official opening time. Today, things have gone a little diffe
  21. The Amtrak service out of Tampa is weird also. Stops downtown which was fine at the turn of the century. A lot of the trips you get from there, you get loaded on a bus ride to Orlando to get a connecting train.
  22. Disney and Virgin Trains USA Confirm Talks to Build a Disney World Terminal Are in “Advanced Stages” In what is a welcome piece of news for guests visiting Disney World from outside the Orlando area, Disney and Virgin Trains USA are in advanced talks for a train station to built on or near the resort. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Michael Cegelis, Virgin’s EVP for Infrastructure, told local officials that talks with Disney are in a “rather advanced state now.” This station, whether built on or near Disney property, would be a part of the proposed rail line to Tampa.
