That is when reservations at the resorts are starting for the special dining plan deal if you had a previous cancelled reservation. No mention if you can get just a reservation earlier without the deal.

There's a few Memes floating around out there. One is When quarantine ends I'm either going to be a gourmet cook, or a drunk. Another good one shows a before and after quarantine Thor from most of the movies lean and mean, then shows him plump and fluffy when he was pitying himself in that remote village. Lets get some good recipes posted in here. Either Disney, , just favorites, fun for kids ones or great camping ones in expectation of the Forts reopening! Little play on words.... I know Easter isn't big over there.

Hmmm, their Emperor doesn't want them open by Easter?

I did see a FB post where people were cruising around the property and ran into a roadblock manned by the Sheriffs or troopers heading towards the Contemporary. They turned around.

That is true, that's why all the big projects shut down. But they still have workers in the parks, don't need a large group to scrub, paint and do repairs. Orange county is instituting the non essential order so now they probably can't have workers in the parks other than security.

Day by day things change, especially down here. Tampa is starting a curfew and stay at home tonight, but Hillsborough County where Tampa is, has been refusing to do anything. They are supposed to look at some sort of change at a meeting today. The Tampa Bay Times a usually pretty liberal Democratic leaning paper, has surprisingly been siding with the Governor with his decision not to issue a statewide stay at home order. There is a petition with over 250K signatures asking the governor to reconsider his decision. Pinellas County across the bay from Hillsborough is starting a

Not sure if regular type maintenance is or isn't getting done. They stopped all the big projects with multiple workers, Tron, Guardians, Ratatouille, EPCOT demo, etc. I would imagine as long as the workers can practice safe distancing (remember when the push was safe sex )they should be able to do those refreshes the parks so sorely need.

They stopped all construction projects. Can’t believe those castle painters couldn’t keep 6 feet apart.

Universal announced 4/19 as an opening date... at the moment. This is due in part that Orange County has issued a stay at home order starting Thursday for 2 weeks. Odds are on Disney following suite.

When Disney announced last week that their U.S. and European parks would be joining their Asian counterparts in closing, in response to the unprecedented pandemic, many stated that this would only be the fourth time Disneyland has closed since opening in 1955. That resort has seen far fewer closures than the hurricane-prone Florida parks, but this will, in fact, be the fourteenth unscheduled closure for the California park. At Walt Disney World in Orlando, the first unplanned closure in the park’s history came in September 1999, 28 years after the resort opened, when Hurricane Floyd, at t

Am I the only one that is getting aggravated about these various blog sites posting their theories about when the parks and hotels are going to be opened, and how they will allows guests back in? All it’s doing is riling up people and spreading false information around. The Disney fanatics are going crazy out there making plans and speculating either further about opening dates. Until word comes from Disney these “supposedly reliable” sites are doing a disservice to everyone and should be banned from Facebook and have their sites blocked. -

A tiny bit of good news for FL Hard Rock Casino to close Friday evening TAMPA, Fla. - All Seminole Hard Rock Casino’s, including the one in Tampa, will temporarily close at 6 p.m. Friday evening to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The move to close the facility comes just days after representative Jackie Toledo held a press conference outside the Hard Rock calling for it to temporarily close amid the coronavirus pandemic. I've seen some articles that suggest not to even do to go orders because you don't know if the workers are healthy (since you can be a carrier for so long w/o symptoms). It's going to get worse for day to day life before it gets better. And if government officials on all levels don't get their heads out of their butts and put party politics aside it's going to get real ugly. I hate to see small business's being decimated by mandatory closures, but it seems like that's the only way the world is going to get a jump on this. And why are they proposing giving tax breaks to majo -

2 Disney Springs businesses layoff all employees due to coronavirus outbreak LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Two Disney Springs businesses have decided to layoff all employees as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. A statement from a spokesperson for Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' Kitchen and Splitsville Luxury Lanes said the move to layoff the employees was “the most difficult decision we ever faced.” “In this unprecedented time and after much deliberation, we were faced with the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic will likely continue for several -
With the historic closures of all Disney Parks around the world, a vast number of guests have been affected having to cancel, cut short, or reschedule their magical vacations. This current worldwide Coronavirus pandemic is affecting us all in some way or another. Massive corporations like Disney included. That being said, what is the appropriate response to these challenging times? A post that has recently gone viral shows what we deem the improper response to this situation. Its virality is further proof that the majority agrees with the nonsense this guest is demanding.

State run campgrounds are shutting down left and right. FL closed all of theirs yesterday, and some county run ones are closing. The below is a kind of accurate list. https://www.campendium.com/camping/covid-19-state-by-state-campground-closures-responses/comment-page-1/?unapproved=70676&moderation-hash=c1b997492f50b19e9f216fa0072339df#comment-70676
