When we got to our room at POP there was a can of repellent and a note telling us to please use if we felt the need.

I read somewhere else that this was intended for Disneyland since the Magicband tech was not set up for there.

Here are a few pics of our pop up. The outside pics are of our pup; the interior ones are from the one in the dealership. This is on the thread from when we bought it. We love it! We have AC, a really usable sink and gas stove, and even have space in there for a small microwave. We always take our panini too. If it is glamping, then so be it. I think the rocks with the fence look pretty good. The rocks sort of make the fence/distance to the water make sense. Definitely a deterrent to any creature going in or out of the water. If it looks decent and keeps the beach area available for fireworks watching I am willing to accept it. Not that I had any say in it...

Once you earn a couple of emojis you can click on settings on your phone, then general, then keyboard, keyboards, add new keyboard, select Disney Emoji Blitz, and Allow full access (still not sure how I feel about that one). It guides you through using them. They don't appear beside your other emojis; you have to click that icon that looks similar to the old Epcot logo. If you don't get it the first time click ABC and then click the world thingy again and they should appear. In texts you choose the emojis you want to use and then paste it in.

I got so frustrated with people feeding the ducks while waiting out the lightning delay to watch Illuminations. Hard time explaining to my kids why they could not/should not join in with EVERYBODY around them feeding the wildlife. That was the night before the attack at GF.

So glad you enjoyed the Fort! We have tent camped, cabined, and now pop up camper there. I love your attitude and agree that who you are with (or not) makes a huge difference in how well you handle a trip like that. Kudos! Welcome to the insanity!

It is up and running! Downloaded the app this afternoon. It is a fast paced match 3 game as advertised. There is a list of steps to take to incorporate the emojis you earn into your keyboard but it is easy. Now I need to figure out how to use them here....

I need a better Dole whip recipe. The last one I tried didn't work out. As for allergies, I can't do red dye 40. You wouldn't believe what all includes it! This past week i found it in salted caramel icing. I thought I had read the ingredient list. Oh well. Glad I had Benadryl (strike that - Waldryl. I have a hard time finding dye free Benadryl so I shop at Walgreens a lot.) Kudos to Disney for working with families with allergies. I puked all the way there, survived a crowded wild taxi-van ride to Port Lucaya, froze while we shopped, and headed back to lie down flat for the cruise back. Well said, sir. I feel bad for what some of these kids have to endure from guests. Great TR! I loved reading along. From what I could see in the various FEA ride videos that have popped up, it looks like they took the old ride exit and now have guests board there as well. I loved that seaside village area. Did it look like they just added to it? Seems like a great use for the old movie theater to be indoor queue.

We don't smoke, nor do currently any of our immediate family members. Some family members can't be around cigarette smoke for health reasons. Being around it makes my head hurt and my throat feel like it is closing in. That being said, I understand that it is some peoples' choice and those that do want to quit can have a very hard time doing so. Banning it from restaurants and stores is fine with me - close quarters and hard to get away from. Ok. Weird! I had to zoom in a little on the pics to see for sure. One of Thrill's just graduated seniors had pics made at GF and on the monorail around that weekend. She is a beautiful and an incredible dancer and had her pics made wearing pink and holding a pink Mickey balloon. The photos were absolutely gorgeous! This, however, was not "our" ballerina. Not even close.

We kept the air on in our pup for the whole 2 weeks. We used a fan to circulate the fan when we were there in the afternoon. Generally one end was comfortable and the dinette area was good with the fan. We found that our food (bread, danishes, water bottles) that didn't go in the little frig kept better if they didn't get hot during the day.

I have a feeling it is just in the way. When we were there these last few weeks no one was using it. It just sat there taking up space. Granted, it seems like more trouble to dig it out/fill it in. Should have been done before the super busy summer season.

As we were finishing packing and heading out a cast member was patrolling up and down the canal behind our site - 1520. It has been a great two week trip for us. Sadly, many others in the area were not so fortunate.

Lying in our camper in 1500 listening to the helicopters doing the search. Sickening to know that means they haven't found the child.

Not sure if this comes under "rennovatios" or not but the old pay phone boxes are being taken down this morning at the 1500 comfort station.

Glad to have ya! You'll love the time at the Fort. As for built in sitters, we have had that luxury on occasion with my in-laws. Those are great times to do the late park closings or head to a nice restaurant for a date. Boma is our choice for date night!

We have picked up cards a few times on the last couple of trips. We each got new packs a few days ago and did a few "missions". They are cool, but we did a lot of backtracking looking for windows and our youngest got his feelings hurt when his "spell" wasn't chosen (if more than one of us was holding up a card). He'll toughen up (and sometimes I "forget" to get my card ready in time.). But, the boys love that they get to keep the cards and they have really hit that collecting stage. (Had to ban them from asking for the the transportation cards. They got a bit too intense! :-) I li

We got to ride the night safari a few days ago. I really liked it. It seemed longer (or maybe it was because they did drive a LOT slower) and it seemed like we went on a different path a few times. Might not have been - it is so easy to get turned around in the dark. There were a few theatrical parts but, for the most part, it was a lot more genuine ride/look at the animals. We did get very good looks at some animals though I don't think they have nearly as many out as in the daytime. It is definitely worth your time. We are in 1520. Just look for our sign and 2 purple flamingos with homemade coonskin hats. The rain has not been kind to the hats so they look like little drowned rats on their heads.
