  1. I really love Trader Sams. With that being said, why are all the cool things at the Trader Sams in Disneyland? https://blogmickey.com/2023/10/ursula-themed-tiki-mug-coming-to-trader-sams-enchanted-tiki-bar/

  5. no, you are not seeing it wrong some of the categories we listed don't have much traffic, but it is my aim to get people back here talking and to get new people here as well we don't have to talk about the fort everyday, I certainly do not post about the fort on the fb pages and that sometimes gets me yelled at, but I just don't care, lol
  6. Ok, so a bit of an update here... In order to get this particular update done, Chris has to crack open the code and insert a tidbit. He says that he believes that is going to cause some other things to go down, so this might take a little longer than expected. However, if you have already downloaded the app, it will still work just fine with no issues. The problem is going to be with anyone who needs to download it from the apple store. As far as I know, the google store is fine.
  7. Has anyone got the new loungefly green backpack? I am about to bust open to get my hands on one. I am going not this weekend, but next, but Disney is about to break my wallet with this Christmas stuff in the online store too, lol.
  8. Hey all, Jen here. It has come to my attention from another forum that the app went down and cannot be downloaded from Apple. Chris is working on the update now and will need to get into the app and code something for the country of France that is needed. While both of us apologize that it went off (because the update needed was not implemented) the store, we all (you included) have busy lives. Please tag me or send me a text if something goes down so that I can fix it. There are some days that I don't have a chance to check things. Chris says: "It is France's fault, 100% entirely."
  9. I actually agree with you about burnout. Between work, social media posts for the side hustle and just life, I am really longing to get back to a forum. Please know that I will be posting much more in the future here to drum up some of the lurkers and get more attention. I do post almost daily on our FB pages and we have quite a following. I sincerely hope they will come back here.
  10. Thanks so Fort Wilderness Glampers for these pictures. My normal sources did not come through this month.
  11. The fact that they still had sites available for the 4th tells you a bunch. The still had sites available with the whole 2100 loop closed. When I stayed there last week in the 2000 loop, barely half were occupied.
  12. As promised, here is the golf cart parade from the 4th. Thank you to Mousesteps for the video.
  13. They are streaming this live from EPCOT and then from Magic Kingdom. The streamers have the handle ResortsTV1. They are really good and the videos are nice a clear. If you didn't catch it live, catch the replay, it is well worth it.
  14. Mousesteps is really good about posting video of the golf cart parades. When they post the 4th of July parade, I will get the link posted here. Until then, please enjoy the Halfway parade.
  15. I really wish I was still at the Fort, as there were actually still sites available. I absolutely hated to leave right before the festivities. However, I want to thank Xander Gonzalez, who is currently at the Fort for the holiday, for the information. Here is his post on Facebook on a different group showing below. I just bought the tire cover with the 50th logo for my jeep and the next business day, they change it all up. Grr.
  16. You are more than welcome. I am a huge train fan and one of the lucky ones that got to ride it, so any time I can post about the trains, I will definitely do so!
  17. I was waiting for the bus yesterday and saw this sign talking about the FWRR. Since I am a HUGE fan of the railroad, I had to snap up a picture. I didn't see it when I was at the Fort in February. I thought it was super cool.
  18. Sorry about the December one, but we do have the current June month posted, the Fourth of July activities and the July month posted for you. I was in between sources for the calendars when you needed them.
  19. I will have a picture of the recreational rules sheet I was given a couple of days ago posted on this thread as soon as I can find it in the car. I'll unpack tomorrow. We acquired an unwanted screw in our tire on the return trip and I will need to attend to that first.
  20. Let me see if I can help you out. I do apologize that it has taken this long for someone to answer you. Music: I have seen many carts use music. I am sure if it is not too loud, it is definitely do-able. Judging: It is done along the parade route and the winner is announced at the Hoop De Doo building. The prizes have been in the past Hoop Dee Doo tickets for the winner. 6 person carts are first come first served, however, I saw a lot more of them (like 10) lined up ready to go this morning when we left property. What specific rules are you wanting to know about
  21. This is the signage in front of PJ's, which is basically what the other signage states. We did not take advantage of the mobile order take out, so I do not have a report on how the food was, sorry about that. Our trip was much too short. I really wanted it to be longer, but I could only stay a couple nights due to work.
  22. I took pictures of the signage that is in each of the loops to guide you in choosing where and what you want to eat. In addition, Disney has contracted local food trucks to be there each night. The food trucks that were there Thursday and Friday were one with smoothies, the regular Fort Wilderness food truck, Wetzel's Pretzels and one other that was arriving as we were passing by. I didn't get a chance to see that one, as I had to catch a bus.
  23. I snapped these pictures on Friday of the loop closure. I know this is not new news, but I thought you might want to see. It looks like a bunch of electrical work was being done. Sure glad to see it.
