As long as you're not afraid of heights or falling, and you can handle that "whoopsie" feeling in your stomach, like when you drive over a short hill really fast, you can do it.

You totally described why I'll never get on it!  And that "whoopsie" feeling gives me a severe headache.

  2. All the buses can accommodate scooters.  The problem with the EPCOT buses are that they stop at WL first.  Apparently a lot of scooter users were staying at WL when we were there.  Over and over, when an EPCOT bus arrived it already had its two allotted scooters on board.

  3. When we were there last October/November, it was pretty useless.  The times kept changing every minute or two.  And there was no guarantee that, even if the bus did arrive, it would be able to accommodate me and my scooter.  We waited 1.5 hours for an EPCOT bus.

  4. Ladies, I wanted to let you know that Chris went to a very expensive fibromyalgia expert today.  The doctor put her through rugged tests all day, and as a result she significantly changed Chris' vitamin/medicine regimen.  Also her activity level.  Chris can now walk 3 minutes followed by 5 minutes of rest.  She really needs to be using a scooter, but I understand her reluctance.  I went through that too.  It's so very hard mentally to accept that your body has many limitations.  Chris has a long road of recuperation in front of her. I sincerely hope that one day we can join you at WWW again.

  5. I drove a school bus while in high school ... so I thought driving our motorhome would be no big deal.  I was wrong.  We have a diesel pusher with air brakes.  Those brakes take some getting used to!  They don't immediately take hold like regular brakes, but when they do they will stop our unit quickly.  By that point I have usually overreacted and hit the brakes too hard.  I can and will drive the moho, but watch out when I have to brake!

As Ken said, there are lots of sides available for a GAG ... but they are mostly starches.  If you're a low carber like me, the only side available is coleslaw.  And it isn't great.
