Planning a Disney vaca next summer (horrible heat but that's when we have to go) I have been waiting for the kids to be old enough to fully enjoy US. Sounds like fun and can't wait to take the kiddos. Love the HP series, lost track of how many times we have seen the movies and read each book at least twice. All time favorite series!!

We have done the Christmas Party once and Halloween a couple of times. Halloween wins hands down. Matthew and I will be down in November for an anniversary trip and due to too many health issues here, the kids will be coming with us, but staying with friends. I am surprising them with tickets for a night at the party to end our week down there. I can't keep a secret so I have already told my oldest who can keep a secret. I at least have a plnning partner. When our kids were considered "kids" we did a lot of buffet meals and therefore it didn't limit them to the kids menu. The last time we did the meal plan our oldest was paid as an adult but we let the kids take turns who got the adult meal. My oldest always ate from the kids menu. For us it was worth it. Once we get to the parks we don't leave. Having to go back to the site to eat would have been failure for my husband LOL! We love the meal plan, oops loved it...when they were all 9 and under. We have been here twice and it is on the possible list again for November. My daughter has a very bad allergy to Mango. We have to mention it whenever we eat out and the chef came out to the table to guide us away from anything made with or prepared near or with Mango. We carry her epipen but prefer Not to use it. The table is mango free. There were a few options that were now off limits for our table but still had plenty to pick from. The whole family loved it....my mom too. Our only negative was how long it took to get there. When we left we ended up calling cabs. So much easier. Wou
