  1. We had a nice stay. I will say that I was disappointed to see so many kid's/young adults without parental supervision riding around on golf cart's not heeding the rules of the road. I am by no means a prude whatsoever but C'mon people ( not directed towards any members, unless it was you ), bull lighting the deer and driving through the woods on golf cart's is bad form and quite disrespectful.
  2. It has cleared out a bit since we got here last night. We're in 806 which was kind of tight backing into with everyone parked everywhere.
  3. Made it to the Fort a little later than expected but was given a rather nice large site in the 800 loop. The space between sites could be a bit more but not complaining since this was one of our chosen loops to begin with. Thanks for all of the help. We look forward to an exciting week ahead during our first Fort trip.
  4. After reading and searching the thread's regarding " Pet Loops & Non Pet Loops" I am as confused now as I was when I started the research. We will be staying at Fort Wilderness starting the 11-28 through 12-04. It will be DW, myself our 2 furry munchkins, as well as DIL and SIL and their 2 furry munchkins. As this will be our first stay at FW we would like to not rile any feathers and follow the rules. However it seems as though ( from reading the forume ) there are no longer any deignated "Pet Loops" and people are being put, wherever-whenever is convenient. My question to the FF brai
  5. Welcome. :10220: My first time to WDW my DW chose for us to stay at POP. Partly because it was my first time to WDW and partly because I had a lot of blood sweat and tears that went into supplying those rather large dancing figures mounted to the outside of the building. :1sm056pullhair: Enjoy your time on FF. Look forward to reading about your first trip report to the fort.
  6. Don't mind at all FinFinder. It's a Columbus 340RK ( Rear Kitchen ) made by Palomino. ( Forest River ). Wish it would have the outdoor kitchen like the one you have. That will be a future offseason mod.
  7. Thanks. When we went looking for 5ers we hadn't given rear kitchens much though as we were focused on rear living and rear entertainment floor plans, until we came across this model which sealed the deal for us. The rear kitchens feel so much more spacious than the others we looked at.
  8. Thanks to everyone for posting. Everyone should be proud of their set up's, they are all beaut's. I am a firm believer that if it keeps one out of the house and allows one to enjoy the out of doors, then that means the " Honey Doo's " can wait another week. :rofl2: :rofl2: Here is a pic of our new rolling kitchen. And our bedroom.
  9. Funny you mention the tow mirrors. DW and I were talking on our way home from picking up the new 5er when I had a brain toot. Us camper & tenter people's aught to fold in and fold back out, our elephant ear's when passing another camper as a way of waving. Kinda like the low hand wave motorcycle riders give each other when passing one another.
  10. Wouldn't want you feeling, sidelined and all.. :rofl3: seeing as you have a front row seat to the 'World of Happy "
  11. Thanks. I went the copy and paste route. Nice looking toy hauler. We contemplated going the TH route seeing as how much we enjoy hunting and fishing, but decided against it. We didn't want to become the hauler of all things everyone else's. I have only had it a week so far and am already liking it more than the F150. The ride is surprisingly smoother than the F150 and my fuel economy not towing is better than the Ecoboost I traded. The steering will take some getting used to as it isn't as crisp or tight as the electronic steering on the F150. Other than that I am enjoying the hec
  12. Thanks Thanks. We went a slightly larger and nicer route. After camper shopping and realizing we needed a smidgen more payload and towing capacity we drove to Memphis ( last week ) and traded the F150 in on a new to us, very clean, well kept & low mileage F350 Yesterday we took delivery of our first 5th wheel, a 2014 Columbus 340 RK. Got it finally
