Walt: The man behind the myth- now the Quiz
TnBob replied to TnBob's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I looked it up after you posted because thats not the answer that was in the program, in the program they called the music "March of the Dwarfs" When I looked it up it said it was "March of the trolls" and here is what I found on Wikipedia: While many claim that the musical score was adapted from the Saint-Sa?ns composition Danse Macabre, Carl Stalling explained, in a 1969 interview, that it was actually a foxtrot set in a minor key. Stalling suggested the idea for a series of musical one-shot cartoons to Disney at a gag meeting in 1929.[1] Stalling also adapts Edvard Grieg's "The March of the -

Walt: The man behind the myth- now the Quiz
TnBob replied to TnBob's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
OK quiz time, some easy, some a little harder but being Fiends I am sure it will be easy, I will post 5 now and 5 after the first 5 are answered and so on. I don't know how many I will come up with ( I have 20 so far)so have some fun. I am going with questions that I don't think are common knowledge like, What is Walt's wife's name, we all should know that Mrs. Disney's name was Lillian. The questions are based on the program so they tend to start with where the program started. 1. How many siblings did Walt have? 2. What kind of factory did Elias Disney buy into? 3. Where were Walt's first c -

We stayed there once for a week, it was just after it opened and I didn't like it. I don't remember what exactly it was but I do remember I didn't feel "at home". I feel the same way about the Wilderness Lodge, just don't feel at home. I did love the Poly though. I am more at home in places like the Riverside and CB and I am definitely comfy at the fort, no more hotels for me.

Ask anyone who has been near me at chow time and they will tell you theres no more picky plain no FU FU (Karla beat me to it) Meat and tater eater than me. There are a limited amount of places at Disney as a whole where you can get real manly meat and taters without the yuppie veggies (corn and peas are great the other stuff is for rabbits). I try getting to Red Lobster and the Ale House as much as possible. Thank you for your attention in this matter :D

any good places to camp in Nashville Tenn?
TnBob replied to tiggerinbama's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Kelly, the closest your gonna get in Nashville is off Briley Parkway where Camping World is. It's close to the Opryland Hotel and Opry and all of that. I think there are 3 campgrounds there and I believe its Music Valley drive, I know there's a Jellystone one there and a couple others, sorry I don't know the names but they will be what your looking for. Most others are out of town and traffic around there can be a nightmare at times, so in summary thats my suggestion not my humble opion.
