Great Pictures Dave! Isn't always the case, you get somewhere early and there is always some pinhead that will sit right in front of you. Last 4th of July was all went down to the beach at the fort to watch the fireworks, the fireworks start and we hear some people bitching about us being in their way. I felt bad for a second until I realized that they were sitting in lawn chairs, not at the front of the beach near the water but at the very back of the beach under the trees, did they expect everyone to keep the beach clear so they could have a view?

It's funny you mention cotton fields, we have some fields of cotton here but in the last few years there have been less. On our trip for Halloween we noticed a lot more fields than ever in Alabama, picked with the huge bales and to be picked. I opined that it must be a result of the high price of cotton right now that it made sense to plant more.

I will tell you that the Thousand Trails in Clermont, Fl is a real crappy campground, not the worse I ever been in bit pretty bad. If that is any indication of there other places I would steer away from it. I also get a call from Thousand trails wanting me to join their program, during the sales speech it comes out that you can only stay for so long in a TT campground then you have to leave and you can't go to another one for a period of times. I forget the exact details but from what I remember you could only use their CG's 3 weeks a month and only 2 weeks continually. Bottom line is make sur

are you people that snarky that you wouldn't wait long periods of time staking out a spot and then give it to some young lad or lassy with rude parents? I personally love to stand there in the hot sun just so I can see the smiling face of a child as he is pushed past me to the front of the crowd. I know how important it was for his rude parents to get on all the rides while the getting was good and people were holding their front row spot. I believe that we should all spend a day just standing in lines for attractions and parades only to give up our spot in line or spot along the parade route

I think most all have the same, some are deeper than others therefore I would think bigger fish would not hang around in the shallow ones. Dave has written about catching some nice fish behind his site in the 500 loop, personally I have never fished anywhere except my secret place. I would tell you where that is but then.......well you know.
