Maybe there's something to that saying about getting wiser as you get older... :)

I rinsed off the roof as good as I could and then let it dry (didn't take long in the 100 degree Texas heat at the time). I then used the acetone to clean the areas where I was going to apply the Eternabond. I didn't rinse it off, I just waited for it to evaporate. I then applied the primer and then the Eternabond. I will be following the same procedure on my trailer, except I will be doing it this fall instead of the 100 degree heat this time. :)

When I used Eternabond on my motorhome many years ago, I used acetone for cleaning and also used the primer. Not sure if it helped, but it definitely didn't hurt. All the Eternabond was still on it when I sold it 4 years ago. I am going to be using Eternabond on my trailer in the near future and I'll use acetone & primer again.

Ford F150 eco boost motor
NLPRacing replied to bdm's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
My Ford F150 Raptor has the 6.2L V8, so I can't comment on personal experience with EcoBoost engines in F150's. But, I have friends & family with 3.5 EcoBoost F150's and they couldn't be happier. Also, my daily driver is a 2014 Fusion with a 2.0L EcoBoost and our company has two 2013 Escapes also with 2.0L EcoBoost engines that are used by our outside salesmen, and I have to say that they have been great engines so far. Both Escapes have nearly 100,000 miles and only one has had any problems (it was an emission related part that failed). I also have a 2017 Explorer on order for my wife -
Looks like Ellie has made her last camping trip.

She was almost 10 years old. We got an Australian Shepherd about a year before Shelby passed and she was able to teach her some good (and some bad) habits. :) -

Sorry to hear that. Our golden retriever, Shelby, passed away back in June from cancer. She was a great dog. -

I have used Kenny several times and I have never had anything but a positive experience. He's always gone above & beyond to accommodate my requests. I am having a hard time believing that he would treat anyone like this. Are there any locals or anybody currently using any Tee Time carts that can get Kenny to comment on this situation? I added a picture of the cart I rented from Kenny back in June. It was an awesome cart.

Twenty One!: The TCD Twins' 21st Birthday Jamboree at the Fort
NLPRacing replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
Happy Birthday to your girls! I celebrated the 20th anniversary of my 21st birthday back on 5/27. :) -
I have the same rule and broke it recently. Long story short, my brother had to buy me a new tailgate. :) I plan on using Kenny again as well, can't wait! Just 29 days to go...

We're traveling from Arlington, Texas this June. I am going to try staying there, thanks for the tip!

We rented a house on the beach in the Seagrove Beach area for a week back in June, it was awesome.
