  1. Well after going last september for the first time since 2014. The whole family agreed to not go back, the food was not up to the pricing. We also went to roaring fork at the lodge and that was subpar also. Disney has really lost the touch on food.
  2. Something I saw on these plans is the floor elevation difference between the first row of cabins and the tree houses on the second row. The second row is 20 feet in the air for an unobstructed view of the lake and fire works. $$$
  3. On the bright side look at all of the new bus stops in the middle of c-108!!! Now we have direct access to all of the parks..
  4. Sorry for the confusion. The total area being cleared is 45 acres in phase 1 including the new horse barn, they will clear river country and cut down all the trees to get ready for construction. When that's finished they will open a new permit for phase 2 to begin building the resort and parking lots. It is a way to keep the new resort hidden from the public until they get the 2nd phase permits. You can see this is what will be cleared and the new horse barn across the street behind the 700 loop.
  5. I did some reading on the enginering report for "Project 89 Phase 1". Here is a quote from it "The total limits of construction of the PROJECT 89 AD Phase 1 project is 45.14 acres. The project is split into two separate areas, main site and compensating storage. The southeast portion of the Main Site, includes clearing and construction of roadways, parking, utilities and a stormwater pond to support a development.(New horse Barn) The remaining area within the main site is clearing only, with no proposed earthwork. The majority of the project area is shown as clearing only, with no new i
  6. And here is the construction access road. Right next to the STOL dirt stock pile. Just to throw this out there. The STOL dirt stock pile will be 15 acres in size and 18' high, with plans for future dirt storage to the north of that. That is a lot of dirt. 454,000 cubic yards. That is the size of RC 18' high, that's a lot of wetland to be filled in.
  7. And here is a grading plan overall, so you can see what area is going to be changed.
  8. Welcome to Project 89 AD Phase 1. This was just uploaded yesterday on SFWMD page. Loop 700 will have new neighbors.
  9. Just to throw this out there. The STOL dirt stock pile will be 15 acres in size and 18' high, with plans for future dirt storage to the north of that. That is a lot of dirt. 454,000 cubic yards. That is the size of RC 18' high. Can we say new park in the future or a lot of wetland to be filled in.

  11. The orange out line is from what I saw yesterday on the SFWMD web page for the project boundary, today it was revised to just the red outlines. Was it another mistake or is the project bigger then they want us to know?
  12. Looking back over the plans that we found, the areas that are being explored were defined as wetlands back then and not part of the planed expansion. With that said I have a feeling we are going to find that there will be cabins on the lake or a much larger foot print then the last plans.
