The website shows a Royal Suite (MK view) and a Presidential Suite (Epcot view). I guess depending on the type of country one is in charge of. Interestingly both show occupancy as 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Cause who would want to take a child, or more than one, to Disney World. Although it shows you can connect up to 8 rooms so possibly your assorted extra children could stay in those. I wonder who stays in those if only the Suite is rented.

Freedom from the Polar Vortex... The GDF family sails RCCL
Seals replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
I believe this is a tapir. I've seen one in a zoo. Still really enjoying your TR and not looking forward to having to get off the ship and end this tropical vacation we are enjoying. What a wonderful experience for all of you but especially Z. I think spending the money for something like this where you are seeing the natural animals and features of a particular part of the world is worth it. -
Great trip report! Looks so peaceful and relaxing. How old are your adorable DDs?

tent camping with teenagers
Seals replied to christylovesdisney's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
Are your teenagers particularly noisy? I live with several teenagers and often you could hear a pin drop as they all stare at the screens of their electronic devices with their earbuds in. Occasionally an argument bursts out over who gets the last piece of chicken or something but I don't think of teenagers as a rule being more noisy (unless they have a loud car) than say a bunch of 8 or 9 year olds on bikes and scooters. We encountered a bunch of those in the 2000 loop and even they weren't really a bother. -
Oh my. I've never seen one of those videos before. And I know it's highly inappropriate. But that was sooooooo funny. Avatarland -- garbage! Don't worry, you can still ride the Carousel of Progress. Whoever wrote that definitely reads various WDW discussion boards. I think I need to watch it again. The only thing missing was a reference to the BABH.

Freedom from the Polar Vortex... The GDF family sails RCCL
Seals replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
You know, this looks really nice. My kids have been begging to go on another cruise (we've done a 3-day Disney Dream) but the Disney prices are just out of our league right now, especially since we are usually limited to the highest priced time periods because of life activities. Looking forward to more photos and discussion. -

My advice when its busy and you don't think you'll be able to change your attractions/times, or won't want to, is to make your FP+ reservations for later in the day when you will be tired and won't want to stand in line. Get to the park early and ride what you can, have a restful lunch and then do your FP+. -

To help me plan my imaginary cruise, is the soda $4.50 unlimited soda per day or for the whole cruise? And do they use the Disney age of 9 and under for child? I like the idea of name your own time dining. -
When we went to Memphis in 2012 we drove across this bridge and then back so my kids could say they had been to Arkansas. Only other time I've been to Arkansas was when my DH and I did the same thing about 20 years ago. Since you've passed through the ticket building in your TR I'm guessing you didn't notice or didn't get a picture of the trash cans. Hopefully they're still there. Looking forward to the rest of Memphis. I wish we'd known about that restaurant. Great idea to ask the real people where to eat.

I don't need a picture because I've seen it in person with one of my sons and a slide when he was about the same age. I know that heart stopping feeling made especially worse when you are at the start of a much anticipated vacation. Glad it turned out ok. Looking forward to more pictures of the ship. -

Yes. I won't be cruising myself any time soon so I'll have to tag along on other people's cruises for now. I hope we get out of the ER quickly and happily. And that there are princesses for Z to pose with. -
The S'more the Merrier Campfire Set

Yes to this! (and LOL about the fire extinguisher) And since we usually tent camp I don't need the camper (although it is very cute), I can just set up a pup tent. -
The TCD Gang Springs Forward at the Fort- A Spring Break 2014 TR
Seals replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
The reason I became suspicious at this point in your TR was that you supposedly had that high a score with only 24% accuracy. I'm not going to do the math (not that I could) but you would have had to have done a whole lot of shooting to get that high a score with that accuracy. Or been stopped for a really really long time. -
I'm not a Clinton hater and I do love history, but even I would have a really really really hard time going from this to that. I look forward to reading your report, though. And thanks for the Disneyland/DTD photos. It's interesting to compare to Florida versions. And last, yay Mickey ice cream.!!

I will admit that I believed the wagon one. I even thought the bat letter could be true even in it's hilarity because, well, it's Disney. But I knew that the TSM lifetime FP was fake because that type of dream come true just isn't what Disney is about. And then I began to question even the part about the MB opening the comfort station. Good job, though. I love April Fools jokes that are funny and not embarrassing. Most people seem to go for the latter. And add me to those loving the pig on a leash photos. Now that's something you just don't see every day. -

But then everyone can tell they're not in the club. I wonder how this works with repeat visits. You purchase one for lifetime and each time you get tickets you can link to it? Is there any potential for selling used MBs for $11.95?

AP holders now being mailed Magic bands
Seals replied to Starbuc71's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I got that too. Up to 30%off some resorts (usual restrictions apply) and hopper thrown in if you buy a 5 day ticket. I thought the discount might be because of the new Harry Potter area opening at Universal this summer (which my kids are wanting to go to) and the hopper because people are only going to the park for which they have the 3 FP+ and are staying fewer hours in the parks (spending less $ -- junior isn't begging for toys when he is swimming in the resort pool). -

Me too. It is just unbelievable what some people will post. They seem to think they are just posting to their friends. I don't even have a Twitter account. I randomly clicked and ended up on someone's Twitter account where she posted a photo of her one night resort reservation for her birthday with the reservation #, all the guests names, her local address and her home address and phone#. Another place I got stuck was the Twitter page for @dcpproblems for the Disney College Program. Definitely a look behind the magic, but some very funny venting comments about park visitors. -

The TCD Gang Springs Forward at the Fort- A Spring Break 2014 TR
Seals replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
No reserved seating, we could have taken any seat except the rows reserved for the dining package. If I'm remembering correctly, they started letting through the MB readers at the beginning of the FP+ time and I'd say about 10 minutes later they started letting the standby line through. So if one showed up still during the 30 min. FP+ time period but not at the beginning of it, they would be entering after the standby line people, although maybe through quicker than getting in the standby line at that point if the standby line was long. -

The Sunday of Thanksgiving week we had FP+ for the 2nd show of Fantasmic (8 pm I think). I had read elsewhere to get there earlier than the time so we go there 15 min before the FP+ time. We passed the waiting standby line to a set of MB readers where we were about 10 people back. They let us through before the standby line, but we were of course slowed down by people's inability to scan their MB in a timely and orderly manner. We got to seats in the middle center, about 15 or so rows back. My DS and I headed back to the vendor stands so he could get a churro and we were swimming upstream th
