We are actually going after two years away. We will be at the fort on Oct 2nd. we would normally store are camper between trips to the fort and go 3 times during the winter. Were not doing that this year due to costs and unforeseen future issues with fuel cost and Covid but same as most we are just tossing interest due to cost and rules

Thats Awesome I have done LOR displays there for halloween and christmas. Have not ventured into pixels yet but want to. Very nicely done !!!!!

Also consider that there is maintenance. Batteries, pads expire and also the machine needs to be tested and calibrated annually. Its not a bad idea to have it but be honest with yourself. Unless you are going to keep it with you at all times 911 is more likely a better answer.

No I don't however they are at the comfort stations and pools. Also there is an app called pulse point that shows where they are in some areas. also alerts if some one in your area needs help. ( did not work in the fort area)

Today entering the magic kingdom the guy in front of me set off the metal detector. They did the wand search found he had a leatherman tool. Measured the blade on it and gave it back to him and said that it was fine have a nice day.

we tried this Killed two ice makers in about three years they are not all that good the ice melts fast as it is not deep frozen and that just makes a watered down drink. they both also became very noisy and took up space

Meet them they went home for the holidays and a few other personal things they needed to attend to. just easier for them to leave it her then move it and risk losing the site. I can understand the whats and whys (hope I can afford to do the same when I retire) very nice people (they may be reading this) but they are still nice people

I have seen bats lately at the fort near the bus stop lights not sure where they live but could be from the bat house

Take a flashlight to the canals at night and look for the red eyes I always can find a few

I know what it has cost me to be in this site the last two weeks and I sure wish I had that kind of disposable income.

I kind of did I live in Indiana I went through Mount Eagle to get to the fort and its interesting but Im down to 55mph in that area.

unfortunately for me it was due to posting topics and then being attacked by know it alls that caused me to loose interest I still chat and comment about somethings but I don't get involved like I used to ;-(

So I have been at the fort for over two weeks now and Christmas was awesome. But i have noticed something fishy. There is an RV close to me (not say where because I don't want anyone to mess with it) No one has been in or out of this site for over two weeks now. Not really sure how I feel about this. On one hand you know its safe and secure. but the cost alone to leave it in a site over christmas just to store it. And then really people are begging for sites for the holiday and you left an RV in a site unused? And then maybe someone got sick and had to go. I actually even told the front des

So I installed the repeater(booster) and it worked great. Im very surprised at the temp and pressure changes as I'm driving and speed. 62-65 is the happy zone for my unit. 70 they start to get pretty hot at 120 and the pressure is around 135 to high for my comfort. the term at 62 is 100 and the pressure is 115. I also connecter the power for the booster to the running lights I don't want it powered all the time.

How was halloween this year? Last time I was there was in 2015 (on halloween that is) It was almost scary the they the locals took over the fort. We vowed to never return for Halloween again. Now we miss it because we have been there at least 5 time prior and it used to be a lot of fun. (a guy actually told me they were going to return and steal my decorations) left a lasting impression Just wondering if it got any better

we have even decorated our hotel room when not at the fort

update so far so I took all the tires off (kind of a chore at 16,500lbs) called up a local tire store. An old friend answers the line that I had no Idea was working there. he had the sensors installed and filled the tires with nitrogen (free). found that one wheel was so ben that it could not be balanced (same one that kept blowing could be the issues or a result of the issue) Put all the tires back on. I was in the 300 loop for Sandy. If you remember it pretty much missed Orlando. That being said I had to move to a different site due to trees swaying and hitting the sidewall of my camper. The fort is pretty dangerous due to trees when the wind blows if you have to stay and can't get out. Definitely move your rig to a larger parking lot And if it hits with 180mph winds it won't matter anyway. They will all be on their sides in a pile
