Mickey definitely needs his musket back. Imagine how cool it would be if the old entrance sign returned. Where do you think that sign is? In the back of the settlement wagon maybe? it rained very little our entire trip. It could have been a tiny bit warmer so they could have went swimming more, but it was much better than the weather in Michigan so no complaints! It was a rough few minutes of anxiety. We have used rider switch for this reason on our last couple trips. Your posting of the actual rules will become much more important later in this TR. I will say every ride is

All class. Nice work TCD. As you (and your TRs) were the reason I sought this place out in the first place, it is nice to know you can respond to negativity and such with class as usual. You are an ambassador for WDW, the Fort, and this forum. Although you do have negative things to say about WDW and the Fort at times, it is only because you want the place you love and enjoy so much to be its best self. There is nothing wrong with that and in fact, I respect that about you. Don't let any of this go to your head though. I still like the: Tigers/Braves over your Rays Irish/Wolverines over -

No More Dole Whip Swirls in MK?
AC in A2......Aaron replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
"In order to more efficiently give you what you dont want and therefore keep you from coming back, we are getting rid of the items you actually want." Brilliant business model. I reported here previously that they ended orange/vanilla swirls after the swap of SSTT and AI. Yes, citrus swirls are available at SSTT but that is not the same as a dole whip swirl made with orange and vanilla ice cream. The citrus swirl is vanilla ice cream and orange slushie. Now they get rid of vanilla/pineapple swirl too? There is no end to the stupidity at WDW. This is a bigger travesty than Starbucks taking -
Time to meet up with some friends of ours. I forgot we actually met them outside the MK gates that morning and watched the welcome show together. Upon entry, we walked them as fast as we could to the Anna and Elsa standby line. They were staying at Shades of Green and did not have access to FP+ ressies until only 30 days out. By that time, Anna and Elsa FPs were, in the words of Ernie Harwell, "Lonnnnnngggg Gonnnnnnnnne! We walked them to the line, and on the way there was insane people everywhere. I mean nudging, stroller ramming, bumping, etc. It was stupid. Everything we had do

I think there is some truth to that theme. I spend so much time with DS with his sports, that I try to make up for it with DD in other ways. I don't know soccer, so I can't really coach her. I pay attention to the drills they do in practice though and help her as much as I can at home. Rider switch: We told the CMs that DS is scared of coasters and they had me wait with him at the exit. When DW and DD were done, DD and I walked through the exit and stood in the spot where they told us. About 2 minutes later, DD and I would be on board the mine train. My back does okay on most of the

Star Wars: Episode VIII
AC in A2......Aaron replied to DaveInTN's topic in Disney Entertainment Forum
Big Hero 6 was a hit in this household, but to each their own. And it has been a blast re-watching all the Star Wars movies and watching SW Rebels with the younglings. Looking forward to the new movies big time. -
Before we get to the pixie dust, we would exit Dumbo and head over to Barnstormer: Okay. Here is the pixie dust part. DD was invited to stay on the ride when our first ride was over. After the second ride, she was invited to stay on again. We rode the ride 6-7 times without getting off. That happens for two reasons: 1. Rope Drop 2. January/February time frame but not attached to MLK weekend or President's Day weekend. If you time it perfectly in between, the crowd levels are pretty low. So DD rode Barnstormer a bunch of times and I believe we were in the f

I love those photos too. Gaston? X Enjoy your stay and let us know! Yes. Safe travels. DD absolutely loved it. She wanted to ride it as much as possible after that. I said major.....but not astronomically gigantic. LOL CRT was closed during this trip....and we were not enamored last time.....although the princess interactions with DD were priceless.

The first comment about the purple truck was just plain hilarious. -
The next morning (1-16-15) we ate breakfast at the camper once again and carted ourselves down to the marina. We were headed to the MK for rope drop, but the MK boat would not be there for awhile according to the resort boat driver, so we hopped on his boat and headed directly to the Contemporary Resort, where we would walk to the MK. Upon our arrival, we took a few photo opps: The topiary would go missing by the end of our vacation. I believe it happened with several days left and I kept checking to see if it came back, but it never returned to its rightful place before

And selfies without a stick. Weird. The ride pics are all in the Memory Maker Picture Youtube Video I posted awhile ago. With so many pics to post already, I figured I would leave the memory maker pics in the video and do this TR with just my iPhone pics. Thanks Mo. You know what they say about the sun and the dog's arse. Thanks Becks. I knew when I teed it up that you would knock it out of the park. Thanks Gwen........and don't even try to compete with my professional iPhone picture taking eye.....LOL.
