In this next group of updates, we will check out the monorail resorts as well as a few others. In the first group of photos, you will see more pics of the topiaries that I mentioned long ago when this report was started. I remember riding the monorail and loving these when I was a wee laddie. That is all for now.............next up, we head to old school Poly!

I remembered that too Carol. I even told our kids that when we went to CRT a couple trips ago. That would be cool. I wonder where that car ended up? Both this photgrapher and my dad took a lot of pics of the sights. That's good for us!

There are a lot of strange things afoot. Next thing you're going to tell me you went into Satan's coffee shop when you got to MK. I don't know if i can take this. Where is Bill and Ted's phone booth when you need it? I need to go back in time and have some MSB cinnamon roll comfort food.

Here it goes for Michigan places. Based on the school aspect, I will give you two places, one in each peninsula. Lower Peninsula Dearborn, MI (Detroit suburb) The Henry Ford Museum Upper Peninsula Mackinaw Island (located in the Straits of Mackinaw where the Mackinaw Bridge connects the two peninsulas) Lake Michigan is located on the west side of the bridge, Lake Huron to the East You could stay at Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground in Mackinaw City.....the island is a ferry ride away. Sounds like a great trip and trip report!

Should be coming up soon! I think the hub and rose garden area was much nicer back then. The trees look good there. I assume they got rid of them for better sight lines for fireworks but the old look was better. It was back in that general area, not sure the exact location. I think I asked my dad and the photographer that question when I posted the first pics of Fantasy Faire much earlier in this report and they gave me a general location. I would have to go back through and see.

All in good time. I cannot do that trip until I do at least the following: Ireland WWII Sites in Europe

Old School Fantasyland is up next. Another group of photos that is a total blast from the past: 20,000 Leagues is now gone and New Fantasyland is on top of it's footprint. Also gone to make room for New FantasyLand is Toontown. Before it was called Toontown it was known as both Mickey's StarLand and Mickey's BirthdayLand. Here is some of that history: Is he doing Pluto doggie doo duty? More MK to come including more pics from high atop the skyway!

This Magic Kingdom update I shall call, "Cindy's Place." It could be a sitcom based on the youngest Brady family daughter, but alas it is only pics of this: More to come in my next post.........

Why did they rename that and the Fort?

How about some more Magic Kingdom? First, I need to let you know something. I have now looked at the last three reels. Jackpot! There will be some awesome Fort stuff coming your way before this report ends. We will build up to that. Alas, I did not find any more River Country pics, which is what I really wanted to see. But for you Fort aficionados, you will not be disappointed. At least I hope. It will be a great supplement to the Fort stuff already included in the first part of this TR.
