Great pictures, glad you all had a good time. We all know how many pictures you will get from our vist LOL. I just found out the other day who Metaldad had brought his camper from, I know I had been told that it was another fiend and couldn't think of anyone that I knew was selling a camper, because I guess it wasn't even posted. I asked and found out who it was (fortpartyof4) , the kids told me that they love their new camper. You started a chain of events that has made a lot of people happy. I just hope you get another camper soon.

Hey I am part of this adventure Yea!!!!!! We met up with Metaldad and his little Metaldad and Daughter, on Sunday to take delivery of the pup. I am so excited for Jason. We are storing it until Doodle and Mike get here. Of course we had to answer a million questions to the condo security (I won't post what I call them). Sent Jason a picture of it in it's weeks resting place. I understand that Metaldad's kids wanted all of the decorating things that they did to go with it. I also have the potty on my porch, so if anyone is passing Sun City and needs a bathroom, feel free to us it. :flush2: . I

Great report, looks like a Great Time was had by all. I would love to make it to DC, wish it was closer. I know I am lucky because of where I live I get a lot of Fiend time. But I do love the idea of DC which looks beautiful and all the Fiends sit around and eat and gab.

But they all seem to be growning up so fast. That is what I do love about camping, the kids never seem to be to old to want to go. Matt stills goes with us (of course everyone has to put up with the Richie and Matt show) but he wants to go with us and he is 27. So glad Carol got some relax time.

I have thought of that, but I don't want something that small. We have had smaller units and if and when I retire, I don't want to spend a lot a time in a smaller rv. #2 and this is a big one we can't afford to sell ours for what we would get for it, we couldn't get another decent RV.

I did talk to a lawyer and he read the bylaws, he feels that they left a lot of loop holes and told me to park it in the driveway, eventhou it would stick out. But then when he realized we didn't own it, he said we were opening up a can of worms. We could be evicted. Matt brought it because of some things we are going thru and I do have to speak to another lawyer to find out if we can get our name on the deed, without him having to pay a gift tax. I figured I would post this for anyone who is thinking about buying a condo, that own an RV. Rich and I (or I should say Matt, because that is important) purchased a condo last Sept. We read all the papers before we did it. We wanted to make sure that we could bring the MH in to pack and unpack it and leave the next day. We all the documents said we could have it here 24 hours. I made sure that where we brought it there was enough room to pull it in, without being in the way or blocking someone in. We were snow birds in our 30's came down for winters for 7 years. Our Son lives in Westchester so when we go up we fly, I would love to take the MH up for a few weeks in the summer. Hoping maybe someday when I retire if that ever happens

Can't wait to read more. I LOVE Lake George. My Aunt and Uncle had a sailboat docked there. My first experience camping was 2x on an island in Lake George - tent camping - that is when I discoverd I didn't like tent camping at all. The years that Rich and I owned our golf course in NY, when we could get away we would head up to the Lake and rent a motel room. I would love to go camping with the MH up there, but now that we are in FL it is just to long of a trip for a 1 week vacation.

We once brought a 5th wheel and didn't have anything to tow it with. The company we got it from brought it to where we were staying and set it. If you want a used cart Matt can get you set up and then sell it for you when you are ready to sell it. He is one of the sponsors of this site. His info should be on the cart page. Steve, there are CG's in Crystal River and Homossa that are on canal's leading to the River, but there isn't swimming in them. They do have rental boats. I think if it is still there, a small cg on the gulf in Siesta Key. I know there is one in Destin, which is in the panhandle. Also look into St. Augustine, which is on your way down. Bryn Myr is on the ocean, we used to love it there, because if you kept your windows open you could hear the waves breaking. I haven't been there in a very long time, so I would look up reviews. I think there are also some state parks in that area on the water.

Here I am. The full hook up sites are better 1700, 1600, 1800. But last Labor Day we were in the 1300 loop, I can't remember what site but TJ and Missey put their tent behind our MH with no problem. I think there is a way to hook the tent down as long as it fits over the concrete. TJ where are U

It is a beautiful park, but sites are very tight. I think Lou did some damage to his MH when he was there a couple of years ago. I am not sure if your camper is smaller, but check with him and look up reviews. If you do decide it isn't far from us, so maybe we would get to see you there!!! ( I am sure that will make your decision easier LOL)
