Richard Petty Driving Experience to close in June?
Family of Bears replied to WalkerFiend's topic in Disney Rumors Board
It's really funny that I just posted this on my "things I love about the fort" post. I will actually miss the noise. It's familiar to me. -
Waking up to the sounds of nature and buses and train horns and Richard Pettys driving experience (that sounds snarky, but really, I do like that odd combination of sounds in the morning) Morning walk to the lodge for breakfast Watching the kids play at the beach park from the rocking chairs That first visit to the trading post. And then the other trading post. Boat to the magic kingdom Boat to contemporary and lodge Happy hour on crockets porch Walking. And then walking some more. Coffee and cinnamon roll from trails end Watching Bell light up when she finds her best pony Carrot Top at the

Dave's back!! I leave, come back just in time for you to take off...glad you are back. I know the feeling about not feeling "up to" being here. I've been there. Mine wasnt disney-related, but I still get it. Then one day, I was ready. And your posts made me lol when i did come back. So thanks for that. :)

Sanna or Boma?

Food is great at both. Honestly, do you want service or buffet. That's really your deciding factor. -

KFK and the others. Sounds so mysterious. Who are the others? -

A couple of beers on the people mover. TCD, this may be one of your best ideas yet. -
Was just in the grocery store and saw frozen corn dogs. I thought, hey, those look good! I don't like corn dogs.
-
Excellent summary TCD. Very well done. We are now thinking about getting over there for a trip when baby is bigger and other baby isn't too big. Based on what you said, and even taking into consideration what you've said about the food quality/ddp situation, I think I'd miss the resort dining at the world. That mixed with the fort, we come up once a month to just stay at the fort and eat in our favorite restaurants. Park food at the world, not the best, but we do love some of the resort dining experiences. So based on my "never been to Disneyland opinion, which I probably don't even deserve"

Staying in site 1501: a sort-of trip report
Family of Bears replied to sherryberry's topic in Trip Reports
You can't really compare TE breakfast to the wave. Wave has sweet potato in their pancakes, whole grain in their waffles, cinnamon in their butter, key lime in their hollandaise, egg whites in their frittata, feta in their scramble, muesli in their....uh...muesli, brioche in their French toast, steel cut in their oats, chicken in their sausage. You get the picture. Two totally different dining experiences. -
From what I understand, those trucks have a permanent home in that grassy area down there by disney quest
-
Aren't they still serving these Disneyland corn dogs at the fantasy fare food truck at dtd? I remember seeing them and they did a comparison review on the disneyfoodblog. They say they are different but still good.
-
Mo, just saw this. I just wrote the exact same thing on her tr! Weird. Great minds. We have the exact same taste in food. I've noticed this before.
