TCD's Pre-Halloween 2012 Trip Report
Family of Bears replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
Does anyone else think Gaston is kind of a hottie? Annnnnyways.... -
Do you behave this way in real life? I really hope so. I'd love to hear you actually say these things out loud. I know you aren't actually as grumpy as you are letting on. For example...you call your camper a sleep box. That's only something that a non-grumpy person would make up and then laugh about. It's cutesy. Now, I'm not saying that YOU are cutesy...but you are able to turn the grumpy on and off. I look forward to another installment. This is classic material. :)

That was a lot of rant. What about the lion king show? Do you like that? What about the ribs at Flame Tree? Do you like those? I think that's all I got. Maybe you're right. Don't even get me started on the bug show.

OMG the electric circus comment made me spit out my beer I laughed so hard. Very nice.

Enjoying the report. I was also surprised to see you are younger and less hairy than I expected. Your rants make you seem older and grumpier than you actually are. You're just saying out loud what most people choose to filter out and keep to themselves. Enjoying the TR. Good work.

Sometimes you just have to talk pierogie
-
Yes, cheese and potato. When we want to get a little crazy we throw in some onions. All 1000 of them stuffed and pinched closed by hand. Served fried with melted butter. Mmmmm.

Love Pierogies! We have had yearly pierogie-making day at our house every year since I was little. We make Grandma Krywy's recipe in bulk to last months. Haven't tried Epcot's yet, curious to see how they are.

Pirates of the Tennessean - Dave and INC's Dream Cruise!
Family of Bears replied to DaveInTN's topic in Trip Reports
I DID notice that! Sometimes they are footless. Didn't think too much of it. I've had friends with this situation. They put a bathing suit on top of the jammies to keep them on! -

So many things to say... Most important. Bella wears those same pajamas, footie style. Every morning she wears them, I wake her with "Bella, don't panic, but there is a monkey on your booty". I'm always answered with a "Moooooooooom". I know she loves it. Ice cream bars for breakfast, I totally saw that coming. I like their style. -

The whole trying to turn the shower vent on (aka the the second shower head) made me laugh so hard. I would TOTALLY do this. -

MD, great wrap up. We once had to "pop back up" to find the car keys. They were actually in the door of the car, an hour later! I feel your pain. Great TR, thanks for sharing! -
Hot Fun in the Summertime-TCD's August 2012 TR
Family of Bears replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
TCD, just caught up and had to tell you...I read the part about "the girls were going to magic kingdom for breakfast while I packed up camp" and thought to myself, "man, it's good to be a TCD twin"...and then you said exactly that. Your girls are very lucky, you seem to be a great dad. I'm sure all of these memories will go a long way in the choices they make down the road. Good job :) -
Pre and Trip Report: First time tent campers 8/17 - 8/19
Family of Bears replied to trish321's topic in Trip Reports
We camped at Lion Country Safari for the weekend about a year ago when we had our TT. The waking up to the lions rumor is true. Here is my review: Cant beat the prices.100 bucks for the weekend, and that includes two days for four guests to the park. And the park includes the drive through area, which is awesome, as well as the park and walk amusement area, which includes rides, feed the giraffes, water park, feed the birds, etc. We had a blast. We live down here, so it was a local weekend for us. For 100 bucks, there is NOTHING better you can do. The only down side: the campsite was em
