Key West Campground?
Family of Bears replied to Ok Grumpy AKA Cindy~~'s topic in Pictures from other Campgrounds
We stayed at Bluewater. You may not have seen it b/c it doesnt pop up if you search for campsite. It's an RV resort. We went there when we had the TT. It will not allow anyone to say with canvas sides, so no pop ups or hybrids. It is the closest you can get to KW, mile marker 14. They are individually owned sites, some on the water, some interior, and all with tiki huts and some are really nice with some upgrades. It is a nice place :) We would hang at the pool during the day and drive into Key West for night time. -

On our way there now. Is the weather bad? Is that what caused the tree to fall? -

I kept passing by this thread and finally had to jump in to say that every time I read it I saw waterslide. Surprise surprise. Great fiends think alike. -
Great TR! I did notice that the kids watched TWO movies. That is incredible!! That's 3-4 hours of kids sitting happily and peacefully. And I can totally picture the adults jumping to high alert to get another movie on before the kids notice. I've played that game before. Love all the references to things such as: crawling over broken glass, throwing beer bottles, tantrums, strong arming...looks like you all had a successful weekend!

At the risk of angering Lou beyond all reason, I'll say it...These options are not very magical.

Weight Watchers & Walt's World
Family of Bears replied to Nicki aka Rebelstand's topic in Disney Trips
I have found tons of healthy options (that are delicious) that I enjoy. I used WW to lose my baby weight so Im very familiar with it. I am going to think about this and give you my favorite healthy choices. To start: The wave at contemporary is geared towards offering tasty meals but always with a healthy spin. This turns a lot of people away (bison burger, whole wheat pasta, multigrain waffles) but from what I understand, they try to keep their portions to around 400 calories (before you cover in butter, syrup, etc). Grilled salmon at harbor house. dole whip!! anywhere for bf just get a c -

So that means festival of lion king is sticking around? It's my fav. -
Sway bar= a must. Didn't have it bringing our pop home and it was not fun. It was like $50 and Rick installed himself. Easy. Electric brake= also a must. We had Uhaul install it. Like 110-150$. Took 2 hours. Also easy. Transmission cooler=also a must. 150ish I think. Got it done at dealership. They said it would not void our lifetime power train warranty. Also super easy. Pup/hybrid=been there. I totally get the draw towards upgrading, however just gas mileage alone is a huge difference. With a pup, all of these things we are talking about are a little easier in my opinion. Not to mention

Ya but they don't mind. We are playing by the rules. We really do have a baby. We just also have fast passes. From what I understand, this is fair game :) -

Archery at the Fort
Family of Bears replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Im not gonna argue with Lou, cause he'll make me cry, but I will say that the age is most definately 6 and up. Price is 25 +tax, so it winds up somewhere in the 30something range per person. Lou you're the best!! Although I do wonder if you put 7 on purpose just to get a rise out of me. -

You have to be six. 35$ I think. Yes, it was full when we went. Bella had just turned six. She liked it but had to stop cause her little fingers were hurting. These bows are the real deal. Mrofbears did it and loved it. But I will say he got a blister on his fingers from the bow and it bothered him for a few days. So just be careful with that -

We alway baby swap on the coasters. And get fp. So this is how that works out. Arrive with 3 fp. Show baby. Receive baby swap pass. Which means an additional ride plus 3 guests. Use fp. So now we have 2 fp and a swap+3 left. Use fp. Show baby. Receive swap pass. Ride. Left with 1 fp and 2 swap+3s. I could go on all day long. -
We looked for 6 months for our pup and are so glad we waited. Got an awesome deal on a used one in the EXACT floor plan we wanted. Keep looking b/c you never know what else you might add to your want list. For us, it was 2 kings, slide out, tilt out, no shower, and then we saw one with a u shaped dinette and added that to the "must" list. But my advice is do not compromise (unless you are in a super hurry). And I mean that on features and price. I am so glad we waited and got the two kings. We almost compromised a few times but we held out and I know we found the perfect one for us (and staye
