So many comments. I think since I would be allowed to stop periodically for meet and greets the race just might work for me. Granted I would probably need to stop for every meet and greet just to catch my breath. I was exhausted after reading about your race. I would have reversed the plans following the race. Rest first and then AK. Just think of how much safer that would have been.

That is pretty much what happened when we bought our TT. Oh and we did buy ours in the spring. We were shopping in the spring of 2007 and this dealership just happened to have a 2006 model that had not sold. We bought it for around $13K.

Think too about how far you are willing to drive to pick up a camper. When we found the model we wanted ; I searched on line and found one about an hour away.The dealership was having an internet sale. It was a carry over from the previous year. We ended buying a new camper for less than we would have paid for it used.

DH would probably love it if the kids and I split the cost of the meal with him. :rofl2:

This is great, but it does have me a bit confused. Should I be saving my quarters for the Pressed Coin Machines or for the Barrels?

You are clearly not a DB or Jackwagon as you take responsibility for your actions. An accident happened and being the man you were clearly raised to be you called Curt letting him know. Now clearly the DB at DTD either was not raised with the same high standards you were or he was and did not pay attention . The question is will his children follow in his footsteps? I hope and pray the answer is, "No!"

My take on why the old man was there at the MK when he didn't want to be...because he was on a multi generational family vacation and no matter what individuals wanted to do every moment would be planned out and spent together. He was just escaping from all the togetherness.

Our bedroom cabinets only have papers, spare blankets, loose change and extra pillows. Perhaps I need to repack them? Although I guess I could keep the pillows in there.

I have actually been to all the Sea Worlds except for the one in Orlando. I even went to the one in Ohio before they closed it down.

So let's see you have auctioned off the youngest heathen and sold the oldest. What would you recommend I do with my middle child to make a trip more affordable?

We took my son for dinner when he was 4. The girls have never been and dd10 reminds us often of that fact.

We are not early morning people so, the late EMH are better for us.
