Do you have to have a reservation for an early breakfast? We will actually be attending the Student Seminar (formerly Homeschool Day) that morning. Which is why we need to get there early.

For our Fall Break trip we (by we I mean the girls and I as Steve will most likely be sleeping in) will need to be at Animal Kingdom by 8:00am. The park does not open until 9:00am. How early do the buses start running from the Fort to the parks?

Did they combine the reservations so that only one deposit had to be made and there was not the need to go back and check in again? I ask because my reservation in October has 3 check in dates. My TA asked them about combining into one and they said they couldn't . They are linked.

I have a friend who was at a neighborhood pool with her children. She was was keeping an eye on her children and noticed her son showing signs of drowning. She jumped in and saved him. Oh yeah she was pregnant too. Luckily she knew the signs for drowning. Sadly most people don't. It is possible that the parents and others were nearby and just did not know she was drowning.

The Gaston meeting was the best. I had mentioned before that the WW needed to meet him and our goal would be to get him to blush. Well there was some blushing but it was not Gaston.

A friend stopped me at work today and asked which one I would choose. I have not been to either so I told her I would ask here. It will be her, her husband and their two sons. The oldest will be in 8th grade and I believe the other in 6th. She said the trip will be in December.

My heart hurts for this family. Adding them to my prayers.

I am still confused as to how the length of stay thing is working. I tried getting a reservation for October 3-11. More than 5 days nothing available. Ended up booking 3 separate reservation. Reservation 1 is 10/3-10/8 covers the 5 night LOS. Reservation #2 is 10/8-10/9. Umm that is just one day. Isn't that what they are trying to avoid? Yet it was available. Reservation # 3 is October 9-11. This is a Holiday Weekend albeit not all schools are closed, but it is a Federal Holiday so some people do have that Monday off. So why no minimum? Don't get me wrong, I am glad to have the reservation.

When we do go camping there we also stay in Cosby. Our favorite campground there is Smoky Bear. We haven't been to Dollywood in a while. I think we need to get a trip in this summer.

Great first report. Now that you've had the experience tell us about some of your adventures in your new camper. Remember not all trip reports have to be about the Fort and Disney. We love all trip reports.

I cannot believe that no one has answered the question asked. Of course you have lost your mind. Don't worry though you are in good company. The rest of us have lost ours too. As for a July 4th trip, please take lots of pictures and share your experience with us.
