  1. Wow this was quite a busy day, but it is coming to and end soon. Following dinner, it was our standard evening routine. I took the girls to the Adventure Club, Drew went to find much cooler people to hang out with than his parents. Steve and I were going to meet up after I dropped off the girls. The Adventure Club was on the 12th deck and it was taking forever for the elevator to come up there so, I decided just to walk down to the 11th deck. I remembered I had not gotten any pictures in the Adult pool area known as the Solarium. So, I decided to get some. I don’t know why, but for some r
  2. Ok sorry guys. You are going to have to wait a bit longer for an update. Mom duties are calling. Taxi driver to the rescue.
  3. Getting ready to update. I even have some food pictures of kitties for you. Thank You it really was fun. Lou I know you hate for us to ruin your street cred and all, but this post was just what I need to brighten up my day. I am so glad you decided not to read my TR. I will let hubby know what you said. He was chuckling when we were posing for the different pictures. He thought it was so funny how the photographers would be like: "Stand here." "Put your arm here." Put your head here." and so on. Don't worry my other arm was in a safe respectable area. I mean after all my husband was onl
  4. Thank you for continuing to read along. I was hoping to get the rest March 28th in here tonight, but got word that a friend's mother-in-law has suffered a stroke. Going to help tidy up the friend's house as as they are now preparing for extended family to descend upon them.
  5. I know I have been trying to tell him that, but he is refusing to listen. :banghead:
  6. If you ever ask DH how we met he would tell you I was working at the Block. NO! It is not true. He just has a tendency to mess with people and can do it with such a straight face. Once when we first started dating we were out with some friends of mine and one asked him where he worked. He told her Goddard and said he was the janitor (he is really an Electrical Engineer). Doing things like this did come back to bite him once when he told my son (who was 5 at the time) that a place called Jimmy's (hint: no windows) here in North Alabama was a place to get ice cream. After one of my son's fo
  7. Just sent you a PM with the e-mail address of the person I was in contact with when we went.
  8. I am not sure how it works if you have an annual pass, but I do know that when we went during one of the Homeschool Days we purchased our tickets using that promotion. If we had wanted our children to take any additional Y.E.S programs the cost for those classes was $26 each. Looking at the upcoming October Homeschool Days the cost for additional Y.E.S classes is $28.
  9. Thank You Stef! I was beginning to think I might have to ask TCD to do one of his purple crayon drawings. Thanks again TCD for the time you take to do these fantastic trip reports. Congratulations to your daughters. When I read about their winning second place and getting to go onto nationals I got a huge smile on my face, but I doubt it compared to the smiles that you and Mrs TCD had.
  10. Continuing on our drive around the island, the sun was back out. One of the other places we wanted to check out was Coconuts. Jessica also had to use the restroom so, it became our restroom break. Apparently Rachel doesn’t want to go to Heaven. :rofl3: Let's just say some days boarding school sounds like a very good option for when she reaches middle school and high school. Either that or I may often be found here :Bar: I would tell you would else we did here but, Actually we thought it was a pretty cool beach bar/restaurant and said we would go back if we ever made it back to Cozumel. A
  11. Thank You for reading along. The snorkeling was amazing. Thank You! You should take a cruise someday. Just make sure you allow yourself time to relax. By the time we had finally gotten in the grove of how things went it was over. Every once in awhile he will surprise us with an actual smile. Oh my goodness I didn't even notice the button until you pointed it out. Thank You! How is it going with planning your cruise? Are you all still planning on going on one? Glad you made it over here. I know it's not easy to keep up with these trip reports there are so many great ones. I am so be
  12. bottle beer, but really would prefer something like a margarita white wine monorail football followed closely by basketball'; baseball if the Tigers are playing Charmin neither for cat or dog. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my 3 kids. :rofl3: vacation to historical site or vacation to large city such as NYC (doesn't necessarily have to be that one) My vote is for historical site
  13. As usual I enjoyed following along. As for the Bama Jam I don't think we are going.
  14. I like stove top. Read the book first and then see the movie or watch the movie first and then read the book? I like to read the book first then see the movie.
  15. Chiming in while my girls are working independently. Well at least they should be. As for Fantasmic, I liked it. Steve though it was ok and probably would not wait in line to see it again. I would definitely choose the dining package though when ever I get to see it again. I like Bob's dock, but something seems to be missing on it......him. Could you please add him to the dock?
  16. Have fun! As for the weight, don't worry about it. Prior to our cruise I knew I really need to drop a few (ok more than a few pounds), but also knew realistically I could not get down to the weight that I would have loved to be at by then. The only thing I did know was that I did not want to feel bloated while on the cruise so, prior to cruising I stopped drinking anything except for water. That helped me to lose any extra water weight I might be carrying around and made me feel just a little bit more comfortable and not as guilty for enjoying a drink or two extra while cruising.
  17. Everyone decided they were hungry and we ordered some food. Being that we had the earlier dining time we did not want to fill up too much. So we shared some chicken nachos (looks like I forgot to get a picture of those), some chicken tacos and some chicken fajitas. Steve and I each also had a Dos Equis. Mean parents that we are we made the kids just drink water. :rofl2: Don’t worry though the drinking water was very safe. We decided to get a little more snorkeling time in before we left. There was hardly and one here, but fortunately for us there was a family from Colorado who were reg
  18. I thought the submarine excursion would be cool too. Yeah not really a fan of the pushiness thank goodness once we were away from the port area we did not really experience this as much. You're Welcome!! Glad you enjoyed it. Glad you are caught up. I am getting ready to update here soon though. Oh that would be fun. But knowing me and my hesitance of the water, I would probably skip the snorkeling and just enjoy the frozen rum punches on that tour. Being that we had the kids with us we did not even look into one of the party boat excursions. Not that we don't drink in front of them, but
  19. It was now Wednesday, March 28th. We would be docked in Cozumel from 8am until 6pm. Prior to going on this cruise we talked about excursions and what we would want to do. Initially we had booked one of the RCI excursions to the ruins in Costa Maya and a beach break. We ended up canceling that tour. We still saw the ruins in Costa Maya, but went with an outside group. But, before we get to that we need to get to today’s activities. We had a day in Cozumel. We had never been here before. In my research I found that apparently Cozumel is a great place to shop, dive and snorkel. The beac
  20. Oh man I am bummed. I didn't realize we were so close to you. Next time we come through that way I will definitely let you know. We loved Cozumel too and wish we had more time there. If having many pairs of cowboys boots is like having many pairs of sneakers then my son would probably say there is never enough. I swear that boy has more shoes than me. Actually all three of my children do. I have no idea where they got their fascination with shoes from, but it clearly was Steve or me. We almost have to force ourselves to buy new shoes.
  21. I think Jessica is a believer that ice cream for pretty much any meal is a good idea. :rofl3: Thanks for continuing to read along. I think that's why we need to go on another cruise. We didn't really get to enjoy the sea day as much as we should. We were too busy trying to see everything we could. It's kind of like going to Disney. You pay so much money then try to cram it all in for the short amount of time you are there. Then you get home and realize how much you missed of just being in the moment. Thankfully we have Jessica who forces us into those moments simply by her requests to
  22. I am wondering how on earth I will find time finish my girls' school year. Oh well....pass the popcorn Rita I'm in.
  23. Glad to hear you made it home safely. Hate to hear that your camper was broken into. I really enjoyed your live TR and want to thank you for allowing us to join you on your family vacation.
  24. Tuesday, March 27th, the second day of the cruise. Today will be an at sea day. We had ordered room service to make sure the girls had something in them prior to going to the Adventure Club. Then after dropping them off up there, Steve, Drew and I went to check out the breakfast buffet in the Windjammer. Once again I forgot to bring the camera so, I don’t have pictures. Sorry! I will tell you it was your typical breakfast buffet and they had an awesome omelet station. After breakfast I don’t remember exactly what we did, but I do know that I had plans later to attend the shopping seminar
