Life's a Beach! The GaDawgFan Family unwinds at Topsail Hill
devores replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
Friends of ours used to live in Destin and kept their boat at the base there. We went out to crab island with them a few times. It can get crowded and the drunks can get out of hand on a busy weekend. I saw allot of sheriff's boats in the area when we were there. Im not sure where it is in relation to Crab Island, but we took their boat to Hellenback Pizza. The best Pizza Ive had in FL and you can dock your boat right outside the restaurant. -
PP+ has to be ordered in advance because you get material you need to use it in the mail. They need time to send it to you. The regular PP CD just requires a code you enter when you order your CD online, so as long as you get the code before your pictures are taken, you are good.

Unfortunately no. There is no current price sheet. I get asked that all the time. The only place to see the prices is online. To see everything, registration is required, but you can see most items here http://www.disneyphotopass.com/photoproducts.aspx They are rolling out a new website soon that will mesh with the mydisneyexperience and magic bands stuff, and this was a suggestion we put in for. So hopefully they include and easy to understand price guide.

Fort Wilderness FAQ
devores replied to AuburnJen's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Well. The class a pulled out today and now just the pop up is there with a white canopy. It is the site next to bird lady so maybe they couldn't take the noise. Ill check again in the morning. -
Sometimes.

You can get pixi dust from the cm at tinker bells nook store too. The use a wand to sprinkle it on their head.

I like to have them jump so it looks like they are floating away or have someone hold the kids up so it looks as if they are holding them down

With magic shots its all about how the photographer does them. If they just pose you and take the photo, they aren't that great. If they tell a story and make the magic, they become a cherished memory the family remembers every time they see the picture.

That motorhome and popup have been there for months. There are parrot cages under the white canopy things and a living room type set up with chair and light etc. The pop has moved recently, but not far. One site down but still behind a motorhome. The white canopy thing is still there and another has sprouted up behind the motorhome.

Sorry I was late. I thought you handled it pretty well. Plus it was entertaining to watch.

You could order the PP CD and later in your vacation, if you decide to upgrade to PP+, they could bridge the cost difference. Of course, you would be charged the standard cost rather than the pre order cost.

Ok, PP+ works just like the regular PP service in regards to regular photos. See a photographer, get your picture taken, scan your card, its yours. The plus part about it is you also get all your ride photos and dining photos (not only digital, but hard copy as well). How this works is you hand your special PP+ card to the ride attendant manning the photo station or the photographer at the dining location and they will put them on your card for you. There is no limit to how many photos you have taken. If you ride space mountain 5 times, you get all 5 photos. If you have 2000 photos taken,

The badges are stickers they give you to put in your book..... Top left of the pages, the round symbols, are the badges you earn. They give you the sticker to put in the book.

Wilderness Explorers at AK now open!
devores replied to nutters4wdw......Amy's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Review http://www.fortfiends.net/forum/topic/10222-the-wilderness-must-be-explored/ -
In a previous TR (http://www.fortfiends.net/forum/topic/10220-a-pirates-life-for-me/) I mentioned we tried two new experiences at WDW. The second was the Wilderness Explorers at AK. This is a learning experience that takes you around AK and has you perform activities to earn badges. The great part about it is you do not have to dedicate time to this experience as it can be accomplished while you enjoy the park as normal. First, a meet and greet to get us in the mood...... You start your experience at the hut just across the bridge when you first enter AK Here, you receive your

Whered my response go? This site has more and more issues these days. Anyway, We try to experience everything at least once so we can talk logically to the guests about it. As with all of these "games" around WDW, I Would not give up something in a touring plan to do them, but if there is a gap in the plan, like waiting on a FP return time, I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Its a fun experience and you get to see some neat affects.

No tripod. these were shot free hand. I bumped up my ISO and set a slower shutter speed to get these. And held really still.
