I have a 40ft fiver and always stay in premium. Not because I do not move. But when we did visit for short stays, the sand pad makes a difference. With a rig that size, you have to decide whether you park the rig all on the concrete or part on the sand pad. If staying for a long period of time (a week or more) the rig will sink into the sand from the weight and movement. Enough to make the rig unstable and jiggle when moving around. If you park all on the concrete, you loose allot of site and will not be able to park your vehicle at your site.

OT: Transformers 3D Ride at Universal

With the budget cuts and all, military performance teams have all been grounded for the rest of the year. So it would not have been one of them. They have also cancelled all fly bys for things like sporting events. The Black Diamond team is actually pretty good. They moved to Lakeland from PA not long ago and changed their name from the Heavy Metal Jet Team to what it is now. They used to be sponsored by Citibank. They don't get as many gigs as some of the other performance teams out there, but they are starting to get their name out there. And you know allot about buses. Planes have al -
OT: Transformers 3D Ride at Universal

Ummm, slightly. Disney could have done so much more with SWW. They failed slightly and hope they up their game in the future. And, a flying dragon kite that guests were not even allowed to see compared to explosions, jets, AND optimus prime and bumblebee.....yeh, win for Universal in grand openings. They were not military jets. They are a private organization that does stunt flying for air shows. You may have seen them before it you have ever gone to an airshow. The Thunderbirds are F16 fighter jets. The planes in the video are the Black Diamond Jet Team based out of Lakeland, FL. -
OT: Transformers 3D Ride at Universal

Im waiting for the hype to die down and the tourist season to end to go try this out. No need to fight the crowds just yet. I have always liked the rides at Universal but hate the service and upkeep of the park. I like Disney for the theming and service. Two separate experiences. -
No. It just means all of the indoor attractions will be extremely crowded. You can walk around all you want, but the inside locations (stores, meet and greets, restaurants) will be packed. During the slow season, when its all locals in the parks, the rain = empty parks is true because the AP holders can come and go when they want and don't want to stay in the rain. During busy times when this is the once in a lifetime trip or a once every couple of years trip, people don't want to waste a park ticket by leaving when it rains half the day. So they stick it out and wait until it stops rainin

The grand opening of the new Transformers Ride at Universal. May have just given Disney a good run for their money. http://youtu.be/73AoWiahEbU

The ordering food online is a new program WDW is trying. Guests at select resorts (aka Deluxe Resorts) can place their food orders at select restaurants and what time they want to eat. They then simply show up and sit down and their food is brought to them. Its like a FP for your lunch. They do not wait inline like the rest of us schmucks and they don't wait on their food, its ready when they arrive. They pick up the yellow rose at the booth outside before you cross the bridge. I have heard of the program, but this is the first time I have seen it used. Its a part of the MyMagic+ system, along

Next came R2D2. Naturally, I looked for an inconspicuous "tourist" walking down the street in his vicinity. But, I didn't see one: I didn't catch whoever it was that was controlling that droid. Maybe if that guy in the red shirt would have stood still for a second, I would have had a better chance of seeing out in the road. Hey, but he almost gave Chewbacca a high five. I'll bet his kids might have been proud of him had he not failed at that. Maybe if he shave that stubble off his head and got a neck tattoo he would get some respect. TCD Is that 2 people in the fron

TV Cable Listing
devores replied to Retired and Happy (Ken)'s topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Most newer digital TVs allow the decimal. Mine does. But if you do an auto search when you first get to the Fort, it will pick up all the stations and then you can scroll through them. I did pick up about 10 analog channels as well, but they were just the local channels again. -
I figured some would think I made a mistake. There is never a line back there and we can swing by for a GAG after getting our keys. Always have to have a GAG on the first day.

The Dish network was down for a bit so I was watching Disney cable. I have always had it hooked up. Just don't watch it much. -

Fort Wilderness FAQ

Checked on my way into work today. The popup was moved to its own site so it is no longer behind any campers. They must be enforcing the rule for it to be moving around like that. -
The ticket window next to the HoopDeeDoo. You can only use it if you are already checked in and on a continuing reservation.
-
I never use on line check in and my site is always ready when I check in. I walk to the settlement, get my keys, and walk back. Whole process takes 15 mins. But seriously, Like Carol mentioned, Sunday is a bad day if you're looking for an early arrival. I see it at the end of every weekend. The mass exodus. But, people linger. That 11 checkout becomes 1230, 100. Ive seen people asked to leave at 3 before because the just hang around. This then pushes the site cleaning back, which then pushes your getting into the site back. On line check in may get you your packet quicker, but don't bank o

Her class A is still in her spot with the white canopy. The pop up that was behind her site was moved over one site and was behind another class A with another white canopy (looked exactly the same). That class A left but the popup is still there and the white canopy is still there. Nancys is still in her site but no popup. -
Couple of comments: First: The "new" scenes in the star wars saga movies are actually not new at all. They were filmed as part of the movie back in its original production. The ideas were all Georges and was supposed to be part of the original movies. The problem? Even George couldn't figure it all out and the technology and techniques just would not permit him to add those scenes to his satisfaction. As technology progressed, he was finally able to add those scenes he wanted to later. One scene stands out to prove my point. There is a scene where Han Solo is talking to Jaba the Hut. In th

They are deleted after aprox 30 days. Sometimes you get lucky and they stay longer, but 30 days is the drop dead date. After they are deleted from the system, there is no recovery method. So if you plan on getting photos, do it before the 30 day mark. NOW, That is 30 days from the day the photos are taken to register the card and see the photos. Once the card is registered online, you have 30 days to make a choice. So you could have 60 days if you wait the full 30 days to register the card online. Of course, if you're using a card that is already registered, then the 30 days starts immedia

Something like this? Disneyland's Tom Sawyer Island is like that, minus the pirate cruise, bar, and dinner show.
