    Rumor is there are special MBs for CMs. Something similar to these.

    Once we get our super secret cm magic bands and can link our main gate to them, we can make FP+ selections like everyone else. The only thing not sure right now is how your guests will be making FP selections.

    Ummm, right now, we cant use FP+ as CMs. Even with a MB. We must use legacy FPs or "make" FP selections when we enter the park at one of the kiosks. Once they decide that the employees who manage the process should actually have some first hand working knowledge, we as CMs will be able to make FP+ selections like everyone else.

    My recommendation to EVERYONE who has participated in the MyMagic+ testing is to fill out the surveys Disney asks you to. Make mention of the FP+ concerns and make reasonable recommendations on how to fix it/make it better. Disney takes the no news is good news to heart. If they don't get any feedback they assume all is good.

    This was during the testing of the auto add of ride photos. It apparently worked. This is why it was only the one time. The test is over now. The photo was not added to "you" and it did not identify you. It read the number from the MB and associated the photo to that number. That number is registered to you in MDE, therefore, the photo shows up on your account. The reason your wife got the e-mail was because, that's most likely the e-mail address of the account the MBs are registered under or the lead on that particular trip.

    Before anyone gets up in arms about this, remember, there is no information stored on those MBs. Zero. The only thing a MB has on it is a 12 digit number. That is it. That number is registered in the computer system and linked to an account. So simply reading the MB will only tell them that a MB is an area. Not who the MB is attached to. For photos, the photo is not assigned to you as a person. It is assigned to a number. The MB number. Then, the MB is linked to an account. There is a separation of information. Only certain systems can read certain information. For example, when a MB is

    That's the one I have. It's true if power is turned off (sensores or unplugging it) it comes back rotating through all colors. If you us the remote to turn it off it comes back to the last selected option. You can change the effects when changing colors as well. Now, I've had mine for a couple years now and some of the colors have stopped working. I have no red or variations there of. So they do wear out. But that's everyday use for 2 years plus. So not bad for $5. Good news is purple still works.

    I second Gary. He is a little strange, but he did fix our problem. We had an issue with the water heater that plagued us since we bought the unit. The thermostat kept burning out. Called him and he had it fixed in 10 mins and we have not had a problem since (bout a year now). He only charged us the cost of the part ($35) and a $10 service charge.

    So no one thinks I have not been working or ignoring this thread. I have been trainer all week training new photographers. So there was no chance of running into me at work. So I just didn't post anything. I have another class to teach today.

    The full meaning of the crate is a mystery. BUT, Dhatura fruit can be used to treat specific types of malarial fever. Since the fruit is not considered edible, only specific parts of it are used for treatment. This could be the meaning behind it as malaria is a common ailment in the jungle.

    Right now, our photographers are dropped. During the parades and fireworks we drop because we cannot be on the street for parades and the crowds take over the street for fireworks. After the fireworks, they will all be back out. There are some areas that do not drop though. Try the rose garden, Tomorrowland bridge, Fantasyland bridge, and the castle hub in front of the statue. Also, every character will have a photographer assigned to them.

    Main Street from Casey's corner back to the train station. Any where along there. I stood at the tree the other night while I was working and had no one around me and a great view of the castle and fireworks. Up until I was pulled back inside to take care of a guest recovery.

    There are 15 vehicles, with a maximum of 10 in operation at any given time. The Sankuru Sadie is the only boat in the Magic Kingdom's fleet to have ever sunk.     No matter what they do with them, it's only a series of numbers they are dealing with. So no personal info is being used. When we associate a photo to a mb we don't associate it to the person. We associate it to the mb number then they claim the photo using the number by linking it to thier account. The only time you can be tracked is when you use the mb to redeem an entitlemt where it cross references the mb number to the account to verify the entitlement. The long range does not do this cross referencing.

    The long range will be used for more than just counting bodies. There was a test where the attractions photos were automatically added to the MBs of those riding the attraction. The test was a success but no other word on when or if the system would be implemented.
