  1. Perks of the job: The other night I was working in the study with the master (the beast) and we got one of the grey stuff cupcakes at the end of the night. It wasn't as good as the actual grey stuff. The cake masks the grey stuff itself. It was still good, just not what I expected.
  2. This is our one and only 300 loop experience. You can see the basic room you get. The part you don't see is the bumper of the fiver is against the tree behind us. The wife had to guide me back to give us some room to get the tow vehicle in there. And we couldn't get the awning all the way open cause of a tree on the side.
  3. That's how we back in now. She sits quietly in the passenger seat and I back in. If I need to get out and check I do. We have a nice dinner that night cause we are still on speaking terms.
  4. We also fit into a preferred on the 300 loop with a 40ft fiver pulled a dodge mega cab. That's why if I ever got assigned to the 300 again, Id go somewhere else. Preferred sites are called marriage testers. it'll make your marriage stronger or end in divorce. And having towed a trailer before, you know there's a huge difference in backing a moho and backing a trailer and tow vehicle. You need way more room and skill to back a trailer.
  5. This is the Fort Wilderness described in the excerpt above
  6. The MSEP starts at the Fire station, not Frontierland. So you could have waited for it. It takes about 10 mins to make it to the ice cream parlor.
  7. They had better be props or Disney is in allot of trouble. When placing a lockout, the person placing the lock annotates their name date and the reason for the lock out on the tag. These tags appear to be blank. Big violation. Of course, if they are props and did make up some info to put on there, then its a violation as well. Because how could anyone know its real or not.

  9. I was torn between ToT and RnR. Had to choose one so went with ToT.
  10. I don't see that happening. They will start selling MBs for non resort guests that will offer the same benefits as resort guests, with the exception of room access and such. So non resort guests will be allowed to make FP+ selections in advance as well. As long as there is an active ticket linked, you should be able to make FP+ selections. As things progress, this is an option. The MBs will be sold at select locations. Some ideas floating around:
  11. I have tried the cronut at EPCOT. Its ok. I wouldn't venture out in a blizzard for one, or make a special trip. But it was good. If you cant make it to EPCOT, you can make them at home: Quick and Easy Homemade Cronut Ingredients For doughFor decorationCanola oil 2 (8-ounce) canisters Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 1 (4-ounce) snack-size container of vanilla pudding 6 cups powdered sugar, divided 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup milk 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 lemon, juice and zest separatedInstructions To fry dough:To make vanilla glazeTo make cin
  12. I'm the same. Comming out of the maelstrom I bypass the store and duck under the chains by the fast pass machines. That perfume is just too strong.
  13. When we lived at the Fort, I would look forward to Friday afternoon. All the weekend RVers (those who only use their RV once or twice and have NO idea how to drive them) come out to try to back into the sites. Ive seen a little of everything. The most absurd was the guy backing a fiver into a site on the 400 loop end up with the tow vehicle sideways in the site with the fiver jack knifed. Not sure how he did it, but he did.
  14. BTW this is now the Frozen meet and greet area. You still exit into the puffin roost gift shop in true Disney fashion though.
  15. I agree with TCD. You could fit that into any site at the fort, if youre good at backing in. But you also would not have much room left if you are in a preferred. After parking the rig and tow vehicle, you wont have much room for anything else. If money is an issue, go full hookup. If money isn't an issue, go premium. Premium will give you lots of space even after setting everything up and you wont have to worry about the sand that is at the back of the full hook up sites. We had a 40ft fiver, a dodge ram 2500 mega cab, a dodge avenger, and a sun shade on our premium site and still had room
  16. So it is DHS. But Ill take the strike. I have no idea now and am all out of guesses.
  17. As luck would have it (not good) I found the show on the same day, but an hour later. So, fo anyone who has not seen it, here is the Comedy show. http://youtu.be/88mJEBpxYG4 Still no Salmon song though.
  18. I got it. Because you are predictable and always post photos from your TR trips. Its DHS, and Im guessing Tower of Terror in the boiler room area.
  19. No video of the song about your salmon? FAIL..... And is that the night I ran into yall? I remember the rain.
