FP+ for Fantasmic does not guarantee you a specific section to sit in. It only guarantees you get a seat. You still sit in what ever section is open when you arrive. The only section reserved is for the dinner package and it is the middle section of the theater. How it works is, they know how many FP+s are issued for each show. Capacity minus FP+s lets them know how many guests can enter standby. Once the standby capacity reaches zero, no more standby may enter to allow the remaining FP+ holders a seat. They could issue FP+s to fill the theater if that many people select it. So, getting there

Theres a boat from DTD to EPCOT? I did not know that. Id take the boat to OKW or POFQ and hop the bus from there. It would be less stress as you are right there near the boat launch after exiting the theater.

No thank you. That's the area they cram all the special viewing. You wont have room to enjoy your deserts. They have that landing over by France they use for special events. Why not use that and have a truly intimate experience? The plaza doesn't sound too intimate. Have to play twister just to get to your cream puff.

The party will include international desserts and sparkling wines in an intimate, exclusive setting with a clear view of the World Showcase Lagoon for the Epcot nighttime fireworks spectacular, IllumNations: Reflections of Earth. Celebration takes place Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings 7:45pm - 9:20pm at Epcot World Showcase Plaza. Cost will be $49 for adults and $29 for children.

That's one rumor I heard as well. The area is already set up for FP+. Just need to re theme the interior. Norway is sponsored by the Norwegian government. They already have the Princess dining and now want Frozen. Im sure Disney will include a better meet area in the deal if it goes that way. Not confirming or denying the rumor, just making comments. There are allot of rumors running around about the two sisters and thier future fate. I've heard em all and none hold any weight over the other. One has Norway in EPCOT trying to pen a contract to keep them there for a year and have exclusive Frozen rights in the parks. Another is fairy tale hall. There are others. I would just like to make an observation. A new parade was just debuted at the MK. A parade that celebrates Fantasyland and all it's characters. All the characters in the parade are from Fantasyland, except Ana and Elsa.

For now, during testing, any bands you have linked to MDE will work for park entry and FP+ if you have tickets linked too, and any band will fork for photopass with or without park tickets. For resorts, the band associated to the resort reservation is the one you need to use for that stay. No other steps need to be done, but using a different MB other than the one for that particular reservation can cause more headache than help. After testing, this should be fixed. They will tell you any band will work, but it has been known to cause problems so Id stick with the rule I have mentioned. Olde

The part at 2:10 where they were on RnR, I was there for that filming as well. We were in line right where they launch and the film crew was standing next to us on the other side of the fence. This was the day I was paid to rid rides all day.

That's me. I was walking from Liberty square to the Town Square Theater with a couple of trainees. Photopass is the only ones, in the parks, who wear those blue pants. I remember walking and talking to them about how they did during training and seeing them filming. I quickly changed paths to walk behind the camera man so we wouldn't be in the shot. Its kind of blurry and I had been in the rain all day training. If I didn't know that was me, Id be skeptical too.

The train station was a good place to watch. even being that high up though, some of the characters still looked down on ya. The maleficent float was very cool being eye to eye with it.

I sat down at 1200. The area just below where I sat, on the street, did not fill up until 1500, so if you wanted to sit ground level, you could still find good spots later. But the train station filled up quick. By 1300, there was no room left and they were turning people away from going up there. I wanted a specific spot so I didn't mind waiting that long. If you just want to see the FoF, you can stake out a little later. and this guy was just down from me......Now that's a lens.

The group that was let onto the grass was the Disney Dreamers Academy. I normally frown upon these "special" groups, but actually endorse this one. They had a convention at WDW the weekend you were there. They had seminars in the Hall of Presidents (you probably didn't even notice it was closed down for the weekend, did ya?) and had activities all around Disney. Keep them separate. The ones linked to a resort stay are the only ones that will work for that resort stay. If you take the wrong ones, you could find more problems than you want.
