  1. We couldn't turn the deal down. The previous owners used it locally and put a whopping 3100 miles on it, and they bought it with just about every option available, right down to the satellite antenna, washer/dryer, and vacuum system. Here is an album of pictures: http://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii184/jcjrsmith/Tiffin%20Allegro%20Bay/ fVery nice!! :flush2: Tiffin makes a GREAT motorhome. Hope you get a ton of enjoyment out of it. My dream MH is a Tiffen Phaeton. I am constantly looking for a good deal on one. One of these days I'll find one. Congratulations on your new rig!
  2. I love the pictures of your grandson! He's adorable. You can never take too many pictures of grandchildren. I think they're the reason cameras were made! :rofl2:
  3. I like the back side of the 800 loop. It backs up to a little creek, and there is lots of green space behind the campsites. Most of the sites are fairly large, too. I also like the 900 loop, but 800 is the one I always request.
  4. OMGoodness..........did I ever want to spank some kids that night!! UUGGHHHH!! ;D I can still see those kids faces when I told them "to move their asses or I WAS going to run them over!" Poor Tay almost fell out of the cart!! LMAO :argh: I would have loved to have seen it! I really wish the manager and security had actually done something about our complaints. ;D
  5. Don't let your children go running and screaming through other people's campsites while playing tag. Don't let your children flash their flashlights in the face of other campers while they are eating their dinner. Please make sure your children know that they should get out of the middle of the road and move to the side when a golf cart is trying to drive through. Do these sound familiar, Christy!
  6. Exactly! I've had to tell them several times that we don't pay a fee for the campsites. One lady kept arguing with me and I finally asked her if she would go ask a supervisor. She came back and told me that I don't pay the fee...I think that was what I was telling her all along!
  7. If the DVC builds a resort at FW it better have campsites and not just be another hotel! We are DVC members, but don't use our points much because we have our MH now. Using DVC points for a campsite is a good deal, but there are all kinds of stupid rules that go along with it because its considered an exchange.
  8. SCAL is another one of those things that I bought and still haven't used yet. I've downloaded a few free svg files, but haven't even hooked my computer up to my Expression to try using it! Like I said, I'm a collector!
  9. When we use DVC points, we stay in a premium site. It doesn't cost many points and we usually have more points than we need. The first time we went to FW, we borrowed a friend's RV and stayed in a full hook-up in the 600 loop. We really liked it too.
  10. Thanks for all the advice! I think I'll wait until Saturday to start cutting so that I'm not so stressed! It's going to be a rough week at work! :partythree:
  11. It's a pretty simple block print. We had the lady at the quilt shop help us pick out a simple pattern. I have the rubber mat, the big clear ruler and a rotary cutter. The instruction book gives very detailed directions, but I'm still nervous about cutting it. I'm not planning on hand-quilting it. Instead I'll have someone do it on a machine.
  12. I just posted on the Scrapbooking board, that I have all the fabric to make my daughter a quilt, but haven't cut a single piece out yet. I am very new at quilting, and I think the actual process of cutting it out is making me nervous. She's coming to visit in a few weeks (she lives 1000+ miles away) and will be very disappointed to see that I haven't started it yet.
  13. I'm a scrapbooking collector! I love to buy supplies, but rarely find the time to do any actual scrapbooking. I have several unfinished scrapbooks and I'm only up to the day my grandson was born in his scrapbook (he's 9 months old now)! I have an Expression, a Gypsy, 30+ cartridges, and tons of embellishments...I really need to get back to scrapbooking!!! Can someone please inspire me to start back scrapbooking? I also have all of the material to make my youngest daughter a quilt, but haven't cut any of it out yet. Poor girl is freezing up in Connecticut and needs a quilt!!!
  14. I enjoyed the show, but I think there were a lot of things mentioned that were "magical" that normal visitors will never get to do. All those times when they rode on rides with characters or had private meetings with the princesses on the lawn in front of the castle, those things usually don't happen for ordinary people. I also loved how there weren't any lines for Toy Story Mania! I looked at my DH and said "What's wrong with this picture?" They walked right in! I also was hoping when the girl talked about going down in a Winnebago that they would have shown the Fort, but that didn't hap
  15. Although I've never stayed at the Fort for Christmas, it gets my vote since it is the most beautiful time of the year to visit WDW. I've stayed at the Fort in October (never for Halloween though ;D ) and I love the decorations. So Halloween is my second choice.
  16. Here's how it works in my family... Me: MK - boat Epcot - drive Studios - drive AK - drive This is what my DH wants to do: MK - boat Epcot - bus Studios - bus AK - bus Needless to say, there is very little that we agree on! We've been married for over 30 years, so even though he is wrong on how to get to most of the parks, I guess I'll keep him! ;D
  17. I don't pack real plates anymore, just paper plates. I hate having to wash dishes, so although I know it's not good for the environment, I only use paper plates when we camp. Now if they could just come up with paper pots and pans, I'd be really happy!
  18. We always bring our Jimmy Buffet Margarita maker! It's a necessity on every camping trip!
  19. Glad you made it over here! Now you need to add your dogs' picture to your profile again!
  20. I haven't done it yet, but I would love to do the Segway tour. It looks like so much fun! Of course, knowing me, I'd either crash mine into the lake or run over someones beautiful decorations at their site!
