  1. This is probably wrong, but is that the lamp inside one of the train cars at the Magic Kingdom?
  2. I read that whole series and loved it. Does the series have the same characters? I didn't realize that it was part of a series.
  3. I agree! My Kuerig is another one of those things I have to bring with me. We have the regular size one at home and I bought the small one for the MH.
  4. Wow, I had never heard of cozy mysteries! I just checked out the webpage and that looks like my kind of book! I've bookmarked that page and will definitely be checking it out when I'm looking for new books. Thanks for the link!
  5. Kim, do you have the links for the free Kindle books? There are two pages that I look at every day that are full of free books. There is a lot more out there than the classics. Let me know if you want the links.
  6. Thanks for telling me about the other authors! I've read a few of the Debbie Macomber books (she was one of my mother's favorite authors), but I've never heard of the other ones. I'll have to check them out.
  7. I would like to think that the price of gas won't affect our camping, but my husband says it will. I am dying to go camping somewhere, anywhere, I'm not picky! But every time I mention it to him, he starts talking about the cost of gas. Our MH only gets about 8 mpg. I'm still hoping to talk him into one of the local state parks within the next few weeks.
  8. I bought SCAL after I got my Expression. I got the Windows version so I could use with DH's laptop in my sewing room. He ended up buying a new Mac and sold his windows computer so there went SCAL. We don't have a windows computer in the house now so I'm going to have to re-invest in the Mac version. Too bad they won't let you buy it for just a little more since I already have the other version. And I finally got my Gypsy to work after messing with it for hours on Sunday. Got my 5 free downloads of cartridges so now just have to find the time to make some new designs! Keep your eye on their w
  9. I love all of the Disney ones...especially the font on the Pooh cartridge. It's perfect for Fort Wilderness pages because it looks like wood. I also like the Storybook font, but it's kind of girlie. Old West also has a great font that I use a lot in my grandson's scrapbook. I know that there are lots of other ones that I like, but my mind is going blank right now.
  10. I love my marshmallows golden brown, but I rarely get them that way. They always burn. :soapbox:
  11. My camera, Kindle, cell phone, and most importantly my Jimmy Buffett Margarita maker! :soapbox:
  12. I've had my Kindle for about a year and a half now. Right now it is full of hundreds of books that I've downloaded for free. The book I'm reading now (and have been reading for probably a month...no free time) is called Summer at Willow Lake. It was another freebie and so far I'm enjoying it when I have time to read.
  13. Cheryl and Kristina, your layouts look great! Cheryl, you need to get a Gypsy!!! I love mine. I use it all the time...well, all the time when I'm actually scrapbooking. I don't seem to do very much of that nowadays.
  14. We bought our first mh from an individual and got a fantastic deal. However we will probably buy our next one from a dealership because I don't want to have to deal with trying to sell our current one ourselves. I'd rather just trade it in. I'm not sure if it is the same thing everywhere, but when you trade-in around here, you only pay sales tax on the difference between the trade-in and the new RV price. That will save us a little bit...not much, but a little bit.
  15. Isn't North Trail RV in Tampa too? I saw a mh on their website once that had a great price, so I started to fill out the more info form. The weird thing is that I never submitted it because I didn't want them to start bugging me with phone calls. Well, within minutes of me leaving the page on the website, I got a call from them. It was weird. The guy called several times after that. Do you think that Lazy Days has better prices than North Trail or are they about the same? I guess if we go down there, we could play one against the other for the best deal.
  16. We keep saying that we are going to go down there one weekend, but so far we haven't been able to get away. Someone (maybe Lorna) said that she lived near there and that they have a nice campground right at Lazy Days, so hopefully we will get down there soon and check out their inventory. It looks like they have tons! Thanks for the info!
  17. I just wanted to say that I love your new avatar!!!
  18. Would you be willing to share the name of the internet dealer? I keep hoping to find a good deal on a Tiffen Phaeton. Do they take trade-ins?
  19. I am so glad that I found this thread! My DH and I always go to the Atlanta RV Show and the deals are so much better than at the dealerships. It just seems like we aren't ready to buy when we are at the shows, but we are when we go to the dealership, but the price is too high. Do you think you get a better price paying cash (or financing) than if you are trading in another RV?
  20. Hopefully I will never need this phone number, but I just bookmarked this page just in case. Thanks for the number MagicBus!
  21. Welcome! You'll find that this site is much friendlier than that other place!
