  1. We like to save ours up for Nike gift certificates. I'm a Diet Coke addict, so I was able to save up around 4000 points and I cashed them in for a $100 Nike gift certificate. My husband took it to the outlet store and bought a great pair of shoes for a couple of dollars. I have over 3000 points now and as soon as I get it up to 4000 again, I'm cashing them in so that I can get new shoes too.
  2. My husband has gone to a chiropractor a few times when his back has gone out, and he has been able to make the pain go away after a few visits. I have not had the same luck. I herniated a disc the weekend before Thanksgiving last year and couldn't walk, or sit, or do much of anything. When it first happened, I ended up in the emergency room. They gave me pain killers and sent me to an orthopedic. The orthopedic was worthless! He prescribed drugs and two epidural injections in my back. When that didn't work, he said surgery was my only option...I wasn't willing to do that yet. It was
  3. :rofl2: Oh good, I finally got one right. I thought I knew where everything was at WDW, but you've had me stumped quite a few times.
  4. Oh, oh, oh, I know this one! That is the fountain in Magic Kingdom. Turn left at Casey's as you walk down Main Street toward the castle. The bathrooms are in this area, as well as the baby care and first aid area. Boy am I going to be embarrassed if I'm wrong! :bump2:
  5. I bought SCAL on Black Friday, but still haven't used it. I really need to pull it out and give it a try.
  6. Dang...I used to be so good at this game! I don't know this one either except that it's Tom Sawyer Island. Was it where they did the Mike Fink boats rides from? If not, it looks like I need a trip to WDW so that I can refresh my memory. It's been 6 months since my last trip and my memory isn't what it used to be! :rofl2:
  7. Both are very nice. The villa rooms are much bigger, but the one bedroom had a weird setup for the bathroom, closet, and other doors. We were always having to close one door to open another. The studios at the villas probably wouldn't have this problem. The lodge rooms are very nice too and probably a good bit cheaper.
  8. Okay...different opinion here...I would get an upper level floor with a water (lake not pool) view. You can sit on your balcony and watch the water pageant at night...it's great! If I remember correctly, we could also watch the geyser erupt every hour!
  9. We've stayed at the Lodge and also at the DVC section of the resort. What kind of things do you want to know? It's been a while since we've stayed there, but I might be able to help.
  10. I wouldn't think it would be that hard. At Disney's Hilton Head Resort, you have to swipe your card to enter the pool areas, the beach house, and to get back onto the grounds from the beach. It's kind of a pain, but I'd rather do that than have people swimming there that aren't guests of the resort.
  11. I love saving with coupons, but it hasn't been paying off as much now that I'm trying to eat healthier. I can never find coupons for fresh fruits and vegetables, or for meats. I'm sure there is a way to save on those items, but I haven't figured it out yet. I watch Extreme Couponing all the time, but the people on there drive me crazy. They buy massive amounts of products and don't leave anything for the other shoppers. When I see them showing their stockpile of 10 years of toilet paper and cleaning products, it reminds me of Hoarders. The ones that really drive me crazy are the ones that
  12. I agree! A very sweet girl that I know (I worked with her for a few summers at a photography studio) is now down there on the college program. She is playing Belle! She is a real sweetheart and has looked like a princess for as long as I've known her. When she found out that she was going to be a character, the first words out of my mouth were "I bet you're going to be Belle!" I was right. I'm sure all of the little girls (and the boys) are all falling in love with her. I can't wait to see her on our next trip!
  13. Oh okay. We had trouble back in October with a big group in the big tent camping area, so I thought maybe this was the same place. I hate that the "problem" people are ruining things for the rest of us.
  14. Thanks. Did you see Brady's post regarding the current ticket package had been extended into 2012? :argh: What is the current ticket offer? My son-in-law is in the Navy, and I know they would love to go to WDW this year, but money is tight.
  15. My Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville maker and all the goodies that we need to make yummy drinks! The other thing that makes my RV kitchen perfect is the same as a lot of you...my Keurig coffee maker.
  16. How does he get away with this? It is clearly price-gouging. A few years back, we had a bunch of stations around here that were caught price-gouging and they had to pay huge fines. This guy should be fined too.
  17. We'll be there October 3rd through 9th (I think that's right) for the Food & Wine Festival. We go every year. We consider it a business trip since we own a liquor store! It's my favorite time of year to go!
  18. We went through there on our way home from Connecticut and traffic was a nightmare!!! Glad you are warning fellow travelers.
  19. Hope to see you there! I guess I need to order my Fort Fiends sign so that you'll be able to find me!
  20. Considering how many pictures I usually take on a trip, the trip might end up as long as TCD's!
