Like everyone else, I LOVE the Sword in the Stone pictures! I wish they had flipped the switch so that the sword rose up for him. He was trying so hard!!!

Oh Puleeeze!!! The first time you saw me, I was so stressed out by the events of the day (the RV flooding) that I know I looked awful!!! The second time we met up with each other, we were both soaked to the skin by all the rain! We will definitely have to take a picture the next time we see each other...and we will look gorgeous! :)

I think Olivia has a way of making everyone feel like they are old friends. I only met her briefly...in the cold pouring down rain as she was packing up to go home, and she was an absolute sweetheart! I really, really wish we had gotten more time to hang out. But our skin was beginning to prune up and pneumonia was setting in, so we went our separate ways. Like you, I felt like we'd known each other for years. Great trip report! I really want to head up that way soon. I like the idea of a GG.

That's the one I meant. They must be there for a long period of time because they were there at the beginning of the month.

Are the two big displays on the 400 loop still there? They backed up to Fort Wilderness Trail and they had a cemetery, tombstones, pumpkins,etc. They were right across the street from Judy. I can't imagine that they would be within the new guidelines...great display though!

Are we there yet??? I can't wait to hear all about your trip. I sooooo wish that we were able to come. I love that my school schedule gives me so many weeks off of work, but I hate that it is never when everyone else is at the Fort.

I think you summed up perfectly why we all love the Fort. It's our own little oasis in the shadow of a theme park. Who could ask for anything more? Thanks for the great trip report! I learned a lot of lessons along the way!

That's what we do too, Carol. I never use them at home, but they are great in the RV.

No, definitely not Rockmart. Rockdale County is just outside of Atlanta. Rockmart is, well...not sure exactly where, but it isn't here! :) Still loving the trip report. Love the picture of your wife and precious daughters.

My parents lived on the lake in Jasper County for years. It's very pretty down there. No, I don't teach, I'm a registrar at the Career Academy. The students at the three high schools in Rockdale come to us for their career tech classes (culinary, automotive, marketing, graphic design, etc.). It's a really fun place to work. A lot of our students will be at the competition at RCHS next weekend too.

So that explains it! We were dying to take our grandson to Turtle Talk with Crush and Nemo and Friends, but when we got there, both were down. We were wondering what was going on.

Sorry I missed out on this. I think I went to bed the minute Lorna and Rich left. It was such a stressful day and I was exhausted! Looks like y'all had fun!

LOL! Toby was commenting on the price just yesterday. He figures he'll have about $100 in it by the time he is done...and I don't think it will be done in time for the trip! Just the drill bit thing to drill the holes was close to $30. Crazy!!!
