  1. I thought about a sit and stand too ( I think ive looked St every single option out there!) but I wonder how silly I'll look with one and having only one child!
  2. And change the internal clock on the kids! Love springing forward but it really messes up my three year old's sleeping habits for like a week!
  3. We tried the expedition one yesterday at Target...loved it but my son is too all for it! He's 3 and almost 40 inches tall...pound wise, he's only 35. Ugh! Wish he didn't have to grow so fast!
  4. That's the one I've been looking at. I need to go to BRU and check out a few! We have a Joovy Kooper now but he's getting too tall to fit in it comfortably. I'm thinking of waiting til yard sales start around here again (usually April) and I might be able to find something there. Just don't want to spend a fortune when he won't be in one all the time like in previous years at the parks!
  5. For those mom's out there... My son is 3 1/2 and his current stroller is getting a little small so I'm looking for a different one for when we go to Disney and FW. He mostly walks when out and about but I know he can't handle every day, all day for 7 days walking thru the parks and The Fort. Anyone have any suggestions on a good stroller for a 3 year old? I'm looking at jogging strollers but not sure about those...I want one smaller, not expensive, and that is easy to use and fold. I thought about renting but it would probably cost the same as just buying one!
  6. I think from what I read a family of 4 can share a pizza for like $40.00? And salads are a few dollars extra. So, given Disney prices, it might not be too bad.
  7. We get a premium, just because the sites are bigger and DH can back the fifth wheel in easier! (and so that he doesn't yell at me the entire time he's backing in! LOL) you realize that being yelled at is part of the camping experience ! It has actually worked for us in the past, the last time i tried to back the 40' monster into one of the less than generous sites, there was so much yelling that a truck driver camping near us came over and backed it in for me. LOL! I know...sad thing is we even use walkie talkies to back it in and we still argue!

  9. Has anyone ate there yet? It's on our list for our next trip...
  10. We did the dining plan for the last time last year...those "quick service" meals are gross in many places. We were going to pay out of pocket for just a few table service meals this trip and eat mostly at the camper. I told DH the new menu last night and he doesn't want LC now so I've got to find another place to eat!
  11. After looking at that menu, there goes one of our few dining ressies that we had planned for our May trip! Who in the world would eat half of that stuff!? We mainly go there for the cheese soup and pretzel breadsticks but I don't see pretzel breadsticks on the menu either.
  12. I'm in TX now but grew up in Lancaster, OH... east of Campingmommy. My family is still all there. We go there quite often! It's grown a lot over the years! I have a childhood friend/college roommate that lives there now!
  13. I know Cedar Point has one. We haven't camped anywhere in Northern Ohio so I'm not familiar with any and haven't camped in Indiana except near Elkhart when we got our camper repaired last year.
  14. I'm from Chillicothe, Ohio...about 40 miles South of Columbus! Meet and greet would be nice!
  15. You know I've thought the same thing as DH has had problems with a reg. Admission ticket and they just wave him on in.
  16. Still debating over the AP's but here's what we have for now: Check in: May 14th Check out: May 21st If we do AP's we're hoping to go back either during Halloween or early fall!
  17. What cartridges do you use most? I've only got a few since I'm new to this stuff...I have Mickey font (which I plan on using a lot!), Plantin schoolbook, and Simply Sweet and Paper Dolls Dress up (which my son loves because we make super heros and other "guy stuff")! I want to get a few more but would rather start out with some that I can use for any project or ones that are used most!
  18. I bought SCAL after I got my Expression. I got the Windows version so I could use with DH's laptop in my sewing room. He ended up buying a new Mac and sold his windows computer so there went SCAL. We don't have a windows computer in the house now so I'm going to have to re-invest in the Mac version. Too bad they won't let you buy it for just a little more since I already have the other version. And I finally got my Gypsy to work after messing with it for hours on Sunday. Got my 5 free downloads of cartridges so now just have to find the time to make some new designs!
