  1. Oh boy, Lorna! You're in trouble! I have a Silhoutte...I bought it in January and I'm just now using it! I bought heat transfer vinyl to make shirts for my son's tee ball team and water bottles! I'm hooked! I have the Silhoutte Design Studio software....I love it so far! I had a cricut before but didn't use it....didn't like it because they did away with the SCAL software and I want to be able to do designs and not be limited. Come over and join us on the Silhoutte FB group! They answer any and every question and you learn lots of new ideas! :) https://www.facebook.com/groups/allthingsSILHOU
  2. :wave1: Welcome! We have a 33ft 5th wheel and we always get a premium...we like the 700 loop...it's close to the boat dock to Magic Kingdom!
  3. or really anyone that has stayed at a campground that either has a beach or is near the beach. I talked DH into a 10 day stay at FW in May but aftewards we want to hit a beach for a few days. We've stayed at Destin and at Top Sail and loved it...just not sure I want to drive that far after being at Disney (even though we have to drive North to get home). I don't like Henderson Beach State park at all so that's out of the question. I know someone mentioned a place near Tampa I believe but that the sites are hard for 5th wheels or Motorhomes to get in. Any help will be greatly appreicated!
  4. I've seen some of my friends on FB saying they've posted things on Pininterest...never knew what it was! Now I'm going to have to check it out! Thanks for the info!
  5. That's what I used...I had an old sign from a roofing company that put the roof on our house so I used it's base.
  6. That's what I was going to suggest...I use that for my online business and they weren't much...maybe $10 shipped.
  7. OMG, you have no idea of the sheer torture of one of my "mom friends" and treats! She lets her kids go trick or treating but they don't get to eat the candy! (yes, this is the same one with the kid that hid and ate candy and then all over the back seat!) Ok, off my before I really get on a tangent!
  8. I know...my older son and husband said the same thing! But I just followed the directions on this one and plus all of my hard work would have went out the window! Seriously though, I have a couple "mom" friends that are very particular and if I gave their kids a baseball bat and let them beat it, they would have had a fit! (Seriously I wouldn't really have cared if they hit it! I have boys so I know how rough they can be!) So, I kept to the PC way! One mom even threw a few fit last year because I had candy it in! (and the funny thing is her kid hid in the playhouse after sneeking a bunch of
  9. Well, mine was the "politically correct" version of a pinata...where you just pull the strings but we can make one of the "ol' school" ones where you can beat the crap out of it with a baseball bat! :) We can fill it full fairy dust!
  10. I put a lot of effort into this thing: My son loves Legos and I couldn't find a Lego pinata anywhere so I made one! I've never done paper mache before (and don't know if I want to ever again! ) but the kids loved it and it actually worked!
  11. I feel your pain! I'm about to attempt to make Lego man shirt for my son's b-day in a few weeks. Thought it would be cool to have each kid have their own Tshirt with their name. Wonder how many shirts I'll have to buy in advance! I always mess at least one up!
  12. I was on the "other boards" earlier this year and hadn't been there for months and then I finally noticed all the regulars were gone and I put 2+2 together and found out about the flush. Then a little PM fairy sent me a message that said "have you figured out were all the Fort Fiends went yet?" and since I'm pretty handy with google search, it took less than 5 minutes and I found this board!
  13. Hope you can find another camper soon so you don't have to stop camping and miss your trip to the Fort!
  14. I'm new at embroidering and I can't tell you how many Tshirts I've went thru so far because of mistakes. I just got a Brother Disney machine and so far I love it! Don't know much about digitizing either...I have thought about getting the software but have never got around to really researching how to do it! Good luck! Practice makes perfect! :)
  15. Ok, I got the Brother 4000d...it's got built in Disney designs and it embroiders up to a 12x7 area and it's a combo sewing/embroidery machine. It was barely used and has a low stitch count so I'm happy!
  16. Ok, so my fascination with embroidery and crafts has me looking into digitizing software. I know Doodle has it but can anyone suggest a certain one? I have a Mac but that doesn't really matter because we have an old laptop that DH can fix for me for like $20 so I can put the software on it. I have already outgrew the embroidery machine I just bought in May...the hoop just isn't big enough and I need a combo sewing/embroidery machine so I put this one on ebay too! Got my eyes on a Brother Innov-is 4000D on Ebay...just waiting to see what it goes for.
  17. That's not good! Hmmm...wonder if I can send Disney the medical bill I got today? Took my son, who has the asthma, back to the Dr. for a recheck and he's now on an antibiotic for bronchitis...can I blame the smoke on it since we breathed it for several nights?
  18. Flower and Garden Festival was ok. Star Wars Weekend...got there last Friday....didn't stay long...lines where crazy and people were everywhere! We got to ride the Star Tours earlier in the week during the soft opening so we didn't miss much I think!
