Welcome To WDW 1970's/ 80's and 90's
jjbescher replied to Discamper's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Could it be because they changed the vehicle that you ride in. You are no longer sitting in someones lap. -
Sounds like me. I will a ton of stuff. I at least have close to a 10 hour drive to think about it. I just hope I have enough extension cords to make it all work.

Heating a Class A
jjbescher replied to Timsmith7's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Tim, when I first used our furnance (brand new) it had an odor along with setting off our smoke detector. We had to run it with the windows open for a few hours to get it to run without the smell and setting off the smoke detector. We try not to run our LP furnace. We will have the Ceramic Heater on and set the LP furnace to a lower temperature than the ceramic heater. This way if the ceramic heater can not keep up or lose power, we still have heat. -

Ants in the Cheerios - Final Update 12/21
jjbescher replied to CCIntrigue...aka Gwen's topic in Trip Reports
Bottom left corner. Could be the one he saw. Looks like one leaf is upside down behind the other one. Not true circles, but close. jon -
This is the same thing that they do for the DVC Resorts. I did it once, not realizing it was the same stuff and price at the market. Looks like they are making enough doing it at DVC resorts that they are now moving it to the Fort. jon

Magic Bands at the Fort
jjbescher replied to Memphis's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
They need a certain time to mail the MB's to you. They do not change the reminder even if you have already customized them. I thought the same thing, went in and looked and everything was fine. I received my MB's this past Friday. -
Yes and they are very nice Doggie Bags. With a lot of courses, they do keep the portions small, but it will fill you up. jon

Never stayed at either, I have friends that have stayed at Caribbean Beach and thought it was a very nice resort. I know there are multiple bus stops within the resort, so depending on where you are at, you either get dropped off first and picked up first, but then have to go all the way through the resort. Or you you may not get on the bus because it may fill up at the other stops first.

I am in the Raleigh area. Let me know what you need.

DaveInTN’s Off-Site, Off-Topic, Off His Rocker Trip Report - Oct 2010
jjbescher replied to DaveInTN's topic in Trip Reports
Dave - I know you have a cruise trip report that you could repost. -
We will be bringing my DD4 on Christmas Day, She will then be going to CRT immediately afterwards. We are doing the Nails and Hair, will be bringing her own dress. She is constantly putting on lipstick(chapstick) and doing her nails. I hope she has a blast because I can not wait to see the smile on her face.

Epcot to test further restrictions on Fastpass+ usage
jjbescher replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Disney Rumors Board
Just booked and Epcot is acting the way the article is stating. With a little one, the only one I cared about was Soarin. However, as she gets older, it could become a PITA. -
Have you ever used a heater in your tent?
jjbescher replied to Jennifer41's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
We use an electric mattress pad in our RV, along with a Ceramic Heater. I know you talking about tents, but the mattress pad was from when we had a hybrid with a tend end. We would freeze before we had the heated mattress pad. Keeps you very warm. The issue I have with the heated blanket is if you get too hot, you have to take the blanket off, then you have nothing keeping you warm. With the mattress pad, you still have warmth if you get to warm and take off some of the covers. -
Thanks, still debating on whether or not to do it, but that definitely helps. jon

Is Hoop-Dee-Doo worth the $$$?
jjbescher replied to ECKusch's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
Yes - My DD4(3 at the time) loves it and still sings the songs from the show. She was clapping along and having a blast. I do not know how much food she actually ate, but I know I had my fair share. When I asked what is the one restaurant that you want to eat at again (We did Be Our Guest, Chef Mickey's, 50;s Primetime, Brown Derby and many others on previous trips), she said the HDDR. Even the boys that we went with that were quite reserved the whole week, were clapping, swinging their napkins, laughing and having a good time. -
I know that the Backyard Barbeque is covered, but do they bring in outside heaters during the winter. We are thinking of doing it during our trip in December and if it gets cold outside I want to make sure that I do not need to be bundled up while eating dinner. jon

The food at Yachtsman was great. We went in August. I wore shorts to the place and no one said anything to me. Prices were high, but I thought the food better than Le Cellier. jon
