  1. wished we lived closer!!! I love pie ,...but sadly we won't be in the area until june....sniff sniff
  2. either way,...no matter who's motive is behind it....its better for us right? >:D I am all about the fort not being packed when I go....
  3. But if Mom let them do that you'd be outside watching them instead of "resting" and maybe have baby 3 in 9 months. LOL Well lets just say that if I don't have my eye on my boys 110% of the time,...all hell woud break loose.....ok well maybe not, but I don't think my boys are old enough to be left unattended....19 mo and 4 1/2.......lol!
  4. ehem....do tell? Does it taste the same? I don't see how, without the magic of disney---LOL :rofl2:
  5. Before kiddos...my dh and I went the first week of August...it literally would rain everyday for maybe 30-45 min....so we would head back to the pup, eat lunch and...ehem "REST".....our ds was born 9 mo later! LOL! Now we have 2 little guys, honestly they probably would be sooo excited if mom let them play in the rain....lol So depends on how long it rained...if its gonna rain all week....just go do what you want at the parks...get soaked...come back change into dry clothes and enjoy the fort! Rain or no rain---I wish I was going!!! :D
  6. I would if I could, then that means Id be at the fort! Sorry, what is his cancellation policy anyhow?
  7. there is a portable a/c unit at Sam's club for $120.00,....its made for "inside" and you don't have to mess with the boot and large window a/c units....you just plug it in and turn it on.....don't know if that is an easier option for you?
  8. we tried to use our droid last october,...but dh and I obviously wasn't doing it right....definitely am going to get this situation fixed before our two weeker in June!
  9. thanks sooo much I appreciate all of the info! :argh:
  10. honestly I don't see how they've gotten away with it so far! lol, everything is ran by the internet these days....lol or so it seems! Do any of you use a internet card while at the fort?or do you suck it up pay the fees?
  11. omg, i am so not there yet... :rofl2: no biggie,...lol, I was just curious, since someone else brought it up!
  12. hmmm,...thanks... I was wondering bc I've never seen anything like those before!
  13. good point magicbus! It's like everything at disney,....I am heartbroken that Snowwhite scary adventures is gone,...good childhood memories,...but Im excited for the new mine ride. Everything comes in stages in life....just hold on to the memories!
  14. Closed as in....to be replaced by a new attraction??? I'm hoping...really hoping...they get rid of "New Management" and go back to the original show. I also think that C.O.P. is due for a major overhaul and take it back to "Now Is the Time" music instead of "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow." I'm also thinking that it would be nice to see them bring back 20,000 Leagues with a visit from Crush, Nemo, and Dory. Today's technology could make an awesome 20,000 Leagues! Alien Encounter, a.k.a. Stitch, needs a major re-do. The history of that attraction has always been kind of "duddy". agree
  15. Ok we just bought our first popoup yesterday. Its a 1999 Viking. Its been kept in a garage, no leaks, very well maintained. There is some cleaning needed to be done to the canvas, nothing major, but what products work best? Also, is there any kind of protectant we can spray or wipe on? Any info on pups is appreciated!
  16. out of curiosity, what will the FortFiends tire cover cost? ball park? lol
  17. were these signs ever real? I know they say replica, but were the old signs made like this? Also the key holder, another replica or what?
  18. We just sold or class A '82 holiday rambler, we got it for a mere ehem $850 and put new brakes, tires, spark plugs, fixed the fridge, and some other odds and ends, put about $3000 into it....selling it this weekend for $8500....so we have a little wiggle room. We've been debating tt, 5thwheels, hybrids....but we just decided with the economy as what its is, and with us only have 2 lil guys (5 & 2) a pup is probably a better option (for now :argh:). So we found a '99 pup (don't know exactly the specs) hubby just bought it today, he's bringing it home tonight. (OH, I am such a trusting wife

  20. I peal the ears back and tied it with some twine or rope to use as a handle,...husk it (de-silk it, whatever you call it ) then I soak it in melted butter and season salt (Lawry's) and put it on the grill using the ears as my handle and slowly turn it ever 1-2 minutes until nicely roasted.....SO YUMMY!
