We are looking at roof mount a/c units that range from $500-$1000 :rofl2: And we are looking at the stand alone units (vent free) 12,000 BTU for about $250-$400..... 7. December 2009 we paid the extra for the late night christmas thing at the magic kingdom and they had free hot chocolate and free cookies. It was nice. Looks like you did pay for those free cookies. Hey it was my wife that wanted to go and yes we did pay for them. BUT the place was empty. I mean we walked onto every ride it was awesome. Worth every penny. We did most the park in the 3 hrs we paid extra for and still had time for hot chocolate and cookies. lol So was this like a mickeys christmas party?

  9. When you couple non-existent rules with higher costs for campsites you highlight the double-standard that Disney has for its FW "Guests"...... A great example is the Pool. When we were there during the late stage of the pool construction I asked some CM's why the pool wasn't being expanded when they had the chance? The answer was telling. They said the only reason the pool was being renovated was to eliminate the deep end for liability reasons. The CM (nameless for obvious reasons) said that the hoopla over a "new pool" was just to cover the fact that the pool needed some serious work done to
  10. This is the very reason why I AVOID the fort on holidays. Its sad because I would love to enjoy the festivities on the the 4th, Halloween, Christmas....but coming from Indiana, we always stay at least 7 days, and if were not able to get our weeks worth and $$$'s worth.....its not worth it!
  11. glad your wife and dd didn't get hurt too bad...I always feel horrible when I trip with the kiddos in my arms! It's scary and you feel so bad! Great trip report! Thanks for getting us our disney/fort fix!
  12. Seriously? $300 :rofl2: I don't see how this is worth it, nor do I really see anyone doing this! Are people that lazy that they can't go fetch there own freaking ice cream cone?
  13. I agree with outlets,...I used to think I racked out on some good deals,...now its like you really have to be lucky to score one on a good day! Keep up the good work... :bighug:
  14. http://orlandoparksnews.blogspot.com/2010/04/hidden-disney-mickeys-retreat.html this was interesting,...so is this a hop, skip, and jump to the right of the fort?
  15. you wouldn't think that Disney would mess with the almighty $dollar$, and would bring back what the "people" want!
  16. How long will ya be there? I'm excited for ya! :bighug:
  17. Sounds like alot of fun! I wish I was there!!!lol, for space we are taking an extra tent, to store clothes, extra junk (and to use to change)....we are taking our pop-up, but with the 4 of us, we don't want our junk everywhere! It might be an idea?
  18. we have done hollywood & vine and Crystal Palace for lunch. We found that hollywood & vine's food was much better--more variety, very delicious---but it has Disney Jr. characters (which was fine because we have preschoolers, who met Agent Oso, and loved it) Crystal Palace, was crazy busy, the food was ok, it was good, just not as good as our previous experience at H&V. Crystal Palace was cute with the Winne the pooh , and all, but we were more packed in, (at least it felt that way) and it was just a buffet and character interaction. At H&V, they interacted more with the kids, c
