Does anyone else have the option to make FastPass+ choices for upcoming trips? When I log on to the website or the mobile app it gives me the option until it figures out that I don't have valid park admission purchased yet and stops me. Am I special and if I buy my tickets will I be able to make these choices now or is this something everyone is seeing?

When I had balls, I did lube them. Reese sells a Teflon ball grease that I always assumed was the best thing to use. A cupcake-ish type would probably say that a WD-40 type product is more of a "penetrant" than a "lubricant" and not made to hold up to the rigorous abuse that a ball undergoes when pulling a 45 foot TT with a mod-ded out E-350. I think if you sprayed it often it would do just fine.

Seems to me that they do not have direct ownership and will not actually see any profit from the hotel. Mickey and that chic at the ground breaking is just good public relations. Even though they don't see any profits from the hotel they will still get revenue from the guests staying there, transportation contracts, and who knows what else...all without the liability of running another hotel. It is in their best interest to have that sucker full, and if putting a mouse costume there for an hour does the trick, they are gonna' do it.

Super excited about new Passholders wristband
BuckeyeFortFan replied to jeremyseth's topic in Disney Rumors Board
That was a very nice answer jeremyseth, but unfortunately we were looking for "Kiss my A$$, bus driver!" "Take a hike, schmuck face" would have also been accepted. Many of the fiends are somewhat apprehensive of the changes coming with FastPass+ and the bracelets that accompany it, mainly because they are old codgers that can't handle change. I, on the other hand, appreciate your addition to this sites content. Keep it up! -
We have noted them stopping people at the base of the stairs on TSM as well. I think it is a safety issue, it makes sense to keep people from standing 3 wide on those steps for minutes at a time. I appreciate it because it increase the face-to-ass distance while waiting in line. I am also a conspiracy theorist RE: inflated wait times, but I think it is just the punk CM's trying to decrease guests visiting their attraction, thereby decreasing work for themselves, especially as closing time looms. I would think the sooner their attraction processes all guests waiting in line at closing the

The stagecoach is the same one in BFM's TR that we saw up in the carriage barn at the outpost livery. I wonder where the show wagon has gone...perhaps a parade somewhere. BTW...that is a Percheron, not a black Clydesdale. Angus is a black Clydesdale. With the white hair on its legs like the Budweiser horses.

It's A BuckeyeFortFamily Spring Break 'EGG'stravaganza!!

I got trading card "sleeves" that you can slip a card into and still see both sides. The sleeves make the cards a little bigger and the stack is thicker but the cards don't get bent or torn and keep dry if it is raining or something gets spilled, and they are easier for the kids to hold. Until recently our strategy was to use all characters from the same movie, so if we have four kids playing we find a group of four characters and let them pick what they want from those four. Late on our last trip a nerd (female if you can beleive it) asked what cards we were using and she then tried to ex -

We were on the hard level by then. Those villians are tough! -
Might as well throw my hat into the ring and see who I can offend (its one of my hobbies). I don't live in J-ville but have driven through many times and have taken all 4 ways around/through at all times of the day, but usually seems to be the am or pm rush hours. Personally, my first choice is to say "the hell with Jacksonville, Daytona and Orlando" and take exit 1 and head west on 301 towards Ocala. It supposed to take a little longer but by missing the stop-and-go crap on 95 and I4 its just as quick and way more leisurely. Second choice is the east bypass. We love the big bridge and I pull

WBI's Fort Wilderness Log Bench
BuckeyeFortFan replied to WannaBeImagineer's topic in Fiendish Designs
Very cool, obviously a lot of work. I wonder what type of machine the company that made these originally had to make that seat even and splinter free. Probably a big saw That would cut it long ways, and if you cut down the center you could get 2 seats out of each log. -

Excellent point! Take away message: When you have more dollars than sense, you can do, or not do, anything you want. -

I seem to recall the calliope was definately being redone for the MK. Do you seriously think they would spend that kind of $$$ on you dirty trailer trash? Ha! Who said anything about TICM discussing the River Country DVC? And no...there was no mention of the new pavilion, only that the DVC was off, and since the TCD (the ranch, not that other one) wasn't getting the new barn down at the outpost, the roof on the current barn would be replaced. As to whether it is dead or delayed, that is tough to tell. It seemed as if no further work was going to be done towards it. That is consistent with the -
You are right, it was never officially on so it can't be officially off...but it is. I know I am not the one to drop huge Disney bombshells, but I have it from a pretty reliable source that the RC DVC is off the table for now. Who knows what will happen in 10 years. And as proof, you will know the DVC is on hold when the TCD barn gets a new roof this summer.

The moon was so big and bright on our boat ride back to the Fort that I had to get a pic. The row of lights reflecting in the water are the lights on the Fort marina and dock, and the big light in the sky is the moon. I call it "Big Full Moon over Fort Wilderness Marina and Dock from a Boat on Bay Lake....at Night". I'll work on the name. -
Not to belabor the issue, but where would the Four Seasons Golden Oaks fall on the DIT scale? Is it equal to SMB? If that is the case, it just SMB. But....some might say the "Abomination" is worse than monkey butt sucking. Some people might gladly suck a monkey butt or two to do away with the project. Or what about a DVC at River Country? Although those plans have been canceled, that would definately have been worse than SMB.

So Tater Channing is a basketball playing cowboy that just got out of the army and can't figure out how to unlock the door to his apartment? Seems like a BL to me..definitely not better than a MSEP.

Resort pools
BuckeyeFortFan replied to flaboy1968's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Actually...pool hopping is allowed. Guests of any Disney resort or even the locals (free loaders) are welcome to use the pool at the Fort. Also feel free to use the pavilions, put your towels on all the chairs.... -

It's called a Lapu Lapu. That is polynesian for " You gonna be S***faced Cousin!" -
1. Our experience has also been 1st come 1st served, as long as your ADR is in the general window, so you want to be first in line when they start letting breakfast guests through the turnstile. 2. We have sat at 8:15 and been out the door at 9 or soon after. It might mean hurrying a little. What we have often done is I slip out at 9 and get FP's for Safari while the kids finish up. 3. Can't help you on the busses. I've been told you should stay the hell off of them.

Someone mentioned that J Cameron is kicking in a significant portion of the funds for 'Avatar land' and that probably overrides any discussion of the success of Avatar, or appropriateness of having it in the AK. You know the old adage, "Money talks and bull shit walks." And if bull shit has money, it walks into Disney HQ and gets Avatar land built.
