2016 superduty
BuckeyeFortFan replied to LONE-STAR's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
I like the Ford. Needs the long bed and DRW. It looks a lot more like the new F-150, which I think are tuff. -
1) Is that cupcake's class c? Did he trade in the Econoline and 60'tt? If so, what will happen to all his mods? 2) Blaring some Neil on the beach at FW? Those must have been some hard core hell raisers right there.

Turkey Legs Moving at Magic Kingdom
BuckeyeFortFan replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
Makes total sense. Turkey legs are a very futuristic food. -
Sweet. I am going to look for holdovers and demos next year at this time and see what is available. Glad to know you like it. GD definitely seems like a good company.......3 guys who worked for big RV go out on their own to make the coach they want to make. Unfortunately they will be bought by Thor after developing a good reputation in 5 years and the cost cutting will begin.

Have we seen pics of your Grand Design? We would like to move to a toy hauler and the 2015 Grand Design 385th is the one we want....but they don't want to give us enough for our current Open Range 5er, so we are staying put...... for now. Would love to see some pics and get your impression of the Grand Design!

Oh....you mean "Gold digger and the Narcissistic Ass" show? Yes....it is very good. "You imprisoned my father....I hate you" "I have a castle." "Oh....you are so misunderstood. I love you!" Gaston could do better anyway. Have you seen the racks on the three girls that chase him? Forget about it.

We are celebrating Snarky's birthday!
BuckeyeFortFan replied to AuburnJen's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Is it worth camping at WDW? Boom. Happy Birthday Snarky. -
A couple of comments..... 1. Jack-Jack does spontaneously combust at the end of The Incredibles. When the villain (Syndrome?) is taking him up to his ship Jack-Jack turns into a devil looking thing, and then a solid metal thing and then lights on fire. The villain then drops him and gets sucked into his ships engine...by his cape. 2. It seems to me, when DL was built, the castle was not the centerpiece of the park that it is at the MK. It was simply the entrance to Fantasyland and so did not need to tower over the rest of the park. Sometime after that it become iconic, and was made t

The Miss Daisy is Donald's boat. I think the WDW version was named Miss Daisy as well, but I think it was bigger.

On the way from the port to MCO, the driver from the service we took asked us if our ship followed one from another company often. I never noticed if it did or did not, but he said there had been several people "fall" off Carnival ships (I think it was Carnival he mentioned, may have been RC). He even mentioned the joke going around was "What's the easiest way to get a free Disney Cruise? Book on Carnival and then jump off." I asked why someone would jump off a ship, as it meant certain death. He thought most were attempted suicides and alcohol likely played a part....and apparently there

Help me choose an Epcot restaurant
BuckeyeFortFan replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
We always go to Rose and Crown....found my favorite drink there.....a cider and black. Restaurant Marrakesh is very good and I promise your men will like the entertainment. We used to get le cellier every time but lately have not been impressed so we have given it up. Have you gone to Tappan Edo in Japan? Very good hibachi if you are into that. Also, although it is not in Epcot but a short boat ride from the international gateway is the flying fish at the boardwalk. Very good. -
Hey Mo! Are you this crazy?

TCD is Thankful for Thanksgiving @ The Fort 2014

I may have to skip the epic Disneyland trip report I am sorry to say. Whenever I see all the awesome stuff DL has and then I think about Avatarland it puts me in a bad mood. -

Thanksgiving at the Fort....and you got out of spending time with the in laws? 'Tis good to be TCD. -
While we were waiting to board I was looking at the first days navigator and there was a blurb on it that said character meet and greet tickets were available on deck 5 midship. I had found during my research that many meet and greets were ticket only events and even though I did not know who they were for...I assumed the frozen sisters..... we decided to go right there and get the tickets. It ended up being for the 4 princesses (Cindy, Belle, Ariel, Rapunzel) and then a different ticket for Jake, Sophia and McStuffins. To my knowledge, if you did not have a ticket you did not get to meet t

Here. I would love to be a skipper on the Jungle Cruise. I would murder that. -
The cruise cost about twice as much as a regular WDW/FW vacation for us. This includes flight, gas, food, hotels......everything. The cruise vacation was only 5 days long vs. 10 days at the Fort book-ended by 2 days of driving each way, so 14 days total. Preparing for the cruise took 1-2 days of packing in our down time and 1 day to catch up on laundry and such when we got home. A WDW vacation takes 7-10 days of preparation (cleaning and packing the trailer, food preparation, dealing with mechanical issues) and 3-4 days of work when we get home (cleaning out the trailer, doing laundry, etc

Oh yeah.....I forgot about that jerk. We first saw him waiting outside the theater the first night. We didn't know why at first but after the show started they were interviewing people coming in and putting it on the side screens in the theater....kind of like a red carpet thing. Well guess who was first to be interviewed. You guessed it.....this douchebag. TCD would be nice and refer to him as a "solo traveler". He gave his name as "The King of Disney" and was just kind of awkward and inappropriate. Like my wife said, he yelled at the actors and laughed hysterically throughout all 4 sh

Thank you. I do not know if there were a lot of people or not. At certain times, when everyone wanted to be in the same place at the same time, it was crowded. Waiting on elevators is probably the worst. Car after car would stop and be full at busy times. The movie was free, which is nice, as I would have had to pay $60 at home to take the family to see it. Popcorn, drinks and snacks are not free though, which for what the cruise cost, I think they should be. And it really was not hard to be in FL and not going to WDW, but it was a DCL. If we would have done something non-Disney
