I see I lost some respect for that last post. :banana:

after spending weeks at our local RV dealers looking at Motorhomes I can honestly say they all seem to work on a 30,000 profit for most products between the 175,000 and 220,000 and about 15,000 on units under 125,000 and if they can't get it they just sit on them. The 5th wheel i bought just 8 months ago for 80,000 is now worth between 35,000 and 50,000 depending on who the dealer is, I won't even talk about how much I lost on my 6 month old airstream. The one thing I firmly believe is if you bought it from an RV dealer, you paid too much.

Its kind of funny, but after living here for almost 8 years the only thought i give to the shuttle is if it lands in the wee hours of the morning, those double sonic booms will wake you up in a hurry

we have never arrived late but if we did, I am sure the amusement others would find in our attempt to back 40' of fifth wheel into some of the Fort's sites would make up for noise. backing in wasn't our problem... fitting both the TT and the truck in the space while keeping the TT in a position where the slinky was still connected was (we were in the bottom of our loop where it curved sharply and we have rear bathroom with rear connections) Lucky us, we stayed at 719 last week, I was so happy that the 50amp cord was able to reach the plug i never noticed the sewer and TV connection were back

I agree with you on the offsite locations, but if I was going to do that I might as well stay home as I only live 15 minutes from Disney and the Fort. It just isn't the same, I actually do not like going to the Park when i am not staying there, I am sure a certain amount of therapy might help with that. ok, I don't have your "problem" with mileage Yes it is a burden that I must bare, I mean with traffic and all it takes almost 20 mins. to get there. My unit was just about 20,000 less than at the dealer due to it being used for a few shows by Forest River, it did take a few days to clean it buy my time is free and all the bugs were worked out within a few trips. Personally unless you like to spend a lot of time waiting for warranty repairs don't buy new, I don't care who makes it it will have many little issues.

I would be happy with that! when did you book, I have tried since last week and no discounts

just got back from my 7th week stay in 9 months, really want to go back in March just can't justify the current rate

Being a Florida resident I am used to the discounted rate of between 65.00 to 72.00 rates for the preferred sites, I was going to book my next trip for the week of March 26 and found the florida resident rate was 110.00 per night, basically no discount, am I spoiled or is the Mouse getting greedy?

I am glad I found out about this site, was depressed after the mass elimination over there, just finished 7 days at the Fort and I wish I never left! beautiful weather, good friends and the Parks also. Golf cart drivers still a PITA but other than that it was great. for those that have not seen the new show on the castle, just before the fireworks, you will be amazed when you do.
